Thaiwoo Town Nanshanli Hotel

I stayed at the Nanshanli Hotel in Thaiwoo Ski Resort, Chongli, for several days to enjoy the amazing powder snow. Besides the fantastic slopes, I absolutely loved the hotel's outdoor hot springs. The only downside was the breakfast, which was really bad. Especially the person making the jianbing (Chinese crepes) – the one with glasses – she'd make them all in advance and just leave them sitting there, never serving them warm. I had to wait until all the serving plates were completely empty before she'd bring out the cold, pre-made crepes. It was terrible.

I'm finally getting around to writing this review after a while. The hotel is super convenient, with the ski hall right on the first floor. The front desk and customer service staff are excellent, especially the front desk lady who was very enthusiastic and helpful. The hotel rooms are clean and well-maintained. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, but be mindful of the time, as many places close early. If you're out late, you might have to rely on the self-service kiosks for quick snacks! The ski resort itself is great, perfect for skiing or just playing in the snow at the base of the slopes!

Five-star review! The location is absolutely amazing. Building D has its own exclusive ski locker room right downstairs, so it's true ski-in/ski-out. No need to carry your gear far, which saves so much time and effort. The room is spacious and bright with a fantastic snow view. The heating and hot water are excellent, making for a super comfortable stay. The front desk and staff are all very friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. After skiing, you can relax in the hot springs – it's a complete experience. It's quiet, not noisy at all, and offers great value for money. Staying here for a ski trip in Chongli is incredibly hassle-free. Highly recommended!

The experience at Thaiwoo Nanshanli Hotel was perfect! Ski-in/ski-out access is incredibly convenient, with Chairlift 9 right outside, so no more hauling gear and freezing. The room was clean and comfortable, and the underfloor heating was fantastic. Soaking in the hot spring while watching the snow-capped mountains was incredibly therapeutic. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was delicious. It's my top choice for a ski vacation, and I'll definitely be back!

This hotel boasts an excellent location with easy access to transportation, surrounded by a wide array of dining and shopping options. The rooms are spacious and bright, featuring modern and minimalist decor, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The comfortable bedding ensures a good night's sleep. The front desk staff are warm and professional, making check-in and check-out efficient. Breakfast offers a rich variety, combining both Chinese and Western options. The only minor drawback is the soundproofing, as you can hear noise from the hallway. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

We checked into Building C of Nanshanli on the evening of the first day of the ***** New Year. The soundproofing was poor, and the towels had stains. I reported it to Trip.com, and both Trip.com and the hotel's customer service reps (kudos to them!) handled it proactively. Since it was quite late when we checked in, we decided to switch to another hotel the next day. The resolution was satisfactory. Overall, the service level at Nanshanli is quite low. Perhaps it was due to the large crowds during Chinese New Year – the restaurant was packed, and the front desk and housekeeping staff seemed to lack a service-oriented mindset. I've stayed at麓宿 (Lù Sù), Genting, Oakwood, and InterContinental in Chongli, and I can honestly say that the overall experience at Thaiwoo was the worst. I won't be choosing Thaiwoo Ski Town for skiing or accommodation in the future.
