Oakwood Suites Chongli

The room was spacious, and the off-season price was a great deal. The breakfast, though simple, offered a good variety, including freshly made noodles, wontons, and hot and sour vermicelli. The staff were all very friendly. Coming to Chongli during the off-season for May Day was a good experience overall; it wasn't crowded at all, perfect for a few quiet days.

The hotel is located near Thaiwoo Ski Town. I booked a king room, which was quite spacious and not cramped at all. The cleanliness was also good. It was the end of the ski season, so there weren't many guests, but the service didn't falter.

The room was nice and warm, with a view of the Snow Ruyi ski resort. Breakfast was conveniently located right next to the front desk.

The experience at Oakwood Premier Chongli was superb! The location is excellent, close to Taizicheng Station, making it very convenient to get to all the major ski resorts. The room was spacious and clean, with complete facilities and comfortable bedding, so I slept really well. The front desk service was warm and attentive, responding promptly. The breakfast was rich and delicious. Parking is convenient and the environment is quiet. It's my top choice for a ski vacation, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I come to Chongli. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not very satisfied, even a bit disappointed. I took my child skiing, and we stayed for two nights for 2,600 RMB. The hotel's overall design style is good, but the service and facilities are not worth it. After checking in, we were given a very heavy plate with two persimmons and a few oranges, which they said were complimentary fruits for us to take to our room. We had just arrived, carrying a lot of luggage, and then we were asked to carry this heavy plate of fruit to our room ourselves. Shouldn't welcome fruits be placed in the room beforehand? This was truly terrible. The bathrobe hanging in the closet had a visible, recently stuck-on dirty mark on its sleeve. This made us suspect it had been worn by the previous guest and that housekeeping hadn't replaced it with a new one for us. Also, the hotel has a small swimming pool with a step partially submerged in the water. The edges of this step are incredibly sharp. First, I saw another child's foot get cut, and later, both my child and I were also cut. It's really dangerous. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for those with young children. The hotel also lacks EV charging stations, which is very inconvenient. The large trolley used by staff for cleaning rooms was parked right in the middle of the hallway, making it difficult to pass even without luggage. These are behaviors that shouldn't occur in a luxury hotel. The training is truly lacking. Furthermore, when checking out, the front desk asked us to add her on WeChat and write a review using a pre-written text she would send us. Isn't this faking reviews? We firmly refused. I will not choose this hotel again when visiting Chongli.

The room has ample storage space and a practical layout, with a great view directly facing the InterContinental Hotel. Unfortunately, I encountered a sandstorm. If you're heading to Chongli for skiing, make sure to check the weather beforehand.

Hotel prices at the various ski resorts have skyrocketed, and the hygiene conditions are increasingly unsatisfactory. This time, I opted for a hotel outside the ski resort for the first time, and Oakwood Premier is truly an excellent choice. The room was exceptionally clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and the spacious balcony offered distant views. I also appreciate that the room had a desk and a single sofa, providing a great spot for both me and my child to read or write. The bathroom had a three-fixture layout, the air purification was quick, and all the bathroom fixtures seemed quite new. I especially want to thank the front desk for their meticulous service; they truly strive to provide high-quality customer service, as expected from an Ascott property. The breakfast was very rich, with freshly ground coffee, fresh dishes, and especially the tremella soup. It's been a long time since I've had such fresh and authentic tremella soup; the staff mentioned it's freshly brewed early each morning, which is definitely praiseworthy!

Had a wonderful experience! This hotel might be small, but it has everything you need. The pool, gym, and restaurant are all on the smaller side, but very comfortable. The hotel's cleanliness was spot-on, and the service was incredibly responsive. Plus, the restaurant has large windows that offer bright, pleasant views!

Location: A 3-minute drive to Taizicheng Station, and about 7-8 minutes to Thaiwoo Ski Resort. Facilities: My experience was really bad. I stayed in room 2018. First, many of the light switches in the room were messed up. Then, to turn off all the lights, you had to hit the 'master switch,' but doing so also turned off the air conditioning. Around 11 PM, the front desk sent an electrician who took about 20 minutes to fix it. Finally, it was resolved. Service: At least the electrician's repair service was okay. It was late, and they fixed it quickly. After checking out, they even contacted me, offering a discount for a future stay. But I won't be coming back.
