Facilities: Excellent. Cleanliness: Spotless. Ambiance: Cozy and inviting. Service: Warm and attentive. They have a gym, swimming pool, and hot springs – everything you could ask for. That's why I extended my stay, and I'll definitely book here again in the future.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. It's the closest and most convenient location to the Thaiwoo ski resort gondola station. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and they're cleaned promptly and thoroughly every day.

Bad check in service at front counter lady. Seems more occupied with her task than guest service. I have to call and request for our sofa bed to be open. Given we book and indicated a family of 4, unlike other hotels whom immediately arrange all additional required items such as toothbrushs, slippers, towels, water, etc. Here I have to call to request for each items. The wifi doesn't work. I have to physically bring my laptop to the front desk for assistance.. and even that was not able to connect. Breakfast, average as the food are abit hard - hard noodles, hotdogs, breads.. Only cons is location near to ski and restaurants but so are a few hotels nearby. Free scheduled public bus shuttle to/fro train station, have to walk about 7 mins to the bus stop. As a Hyatt member, this is the worse Hyatt Place hotels I stayed. I believe surrounding hotels will have better guest services and competitive price too.

Zhangjiakou is a great place, but not when it’s full of people… Starting from: Pluses: Checked in before 14:00; Accommodated my kid’s needs; Restaurant personnel is great; Mind that breakfast/food is Chinese, western choices are poor. Minuses: Bad cleaning (cleaning left smell of old cloth); No bathrobes, no soap in the room (had to ask for it); When checked in, no one told me about breakfast time, neither wrote where/when on the breakfast voucher; Receptionists mostly are ignoring you; Haven’t told about swimming pool, receptionists are mostly trying to avoid communication, father then help, I was figurinista things myself; Staff doesn’t speak English, when I addressed them, first they said they didn’t understand, and then waited for me to leave the receptionist desk, absolutely inappropriate for that money.

Big thanks to Kelly at the front desk! My stay at Hyatt Place was absolutely fantastic this time, the best one I've had at Thaiwoo so far. I'm so happy I encountered such excellent service during this trip! The Hyatt Place staff, combined with Thaiwoo's snow, made for a perfect experience.

Staying here on a weekday during the off-season was great; there were very few guests, and the hotel staff provided excellent service. The breakfast spread was extensive, with fresh fruit and surprisingly delicious pastries! Plus, having a large storage locker at the ski resort included with our stay was incredibly convenient.
