Floral Hotel· Gaosheng Hall hotel (Zhangzhou Ancient City Store)

The hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the old town. The front desk staff, especially the lady who assisted us, was incredibly attentive and met all our requests for room amenities. Our room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. Staying for two nights truly felt like a home away from home. Five-star rating!

Facilities: The hotel facilities are very new, and the rooms are equipped with air purifiers, smart curtains, and self-service washer-dryers, making it very comfortable overall. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, even the corners were spotless, and there were no water stains on the bathroom mirror. The walls in the hallway were pristine white, and even the terrace was immaculate. You can tell they put a lot of effort into running this guesthouse. Environment: The guesthouse's location is excellent, right on Beijing Road which is perfect for photos. There's a small river behind it, which looks especially beautiful at night. It's just a 3-minute walk to the East Gate of the ancient town, and catching a Didi (ride-share) from the East Gate is very convenient and less congested than other areas near the ancient town. With a guesthouse in this location, you could visit it 800 times a day, haha! Service: The ladies at the guesthouse are very gentle and kind. Every time we saw them, they greeted us warmly and proactively recommended good places to eat and fun activities nearby. For the lacquer fan experience included in the package, the lady was so encouraging; even though it was our first time and our designs were terrible, she still praised them highly. Plus, they asked daily if we needed room cleaning, which was very thoughtful. In short, I highly recommend this guesthouse!

This is honestly the worst "Huazhu" I've ever stayed at; its reputation plummeted several levels immediately. The room was incredibly tiny; even tall people couldn't stretch their legs. There wasn't even tea on the tea table, and the small table was practically unusable—it was so rudimentary.

Huazhu Gaosheng Hotel is a real treasure! Hidden in the prime location of Beijing Road in Zhangzhou Ancient City, just turn the corner and you will find the fireworks of Qilou Old Street. It is only a few steps away to go shopping, eat and visit exhibitions~ The ladies in the store are very considerate. From the check-in guidance to the recommendation of surrounding activities, they are warm and friendly like friends. The room is clean and bright, with a Republic of China building outside the window. The furnishings are a bit elegant, and the bedding is soft - being able to stay in such a comfortable and worry-free homestay in the ancient city is a plus point for the trip. I want to stay here again next time I come to Zhangzhou~
