Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Mingfa Zhangzhou Reviews

This was my first business trip staying at the Wyndham Grand Xiamen Zhangzhou (Note: Wyndham Zhangzhou), and overall it was just average. The front desk service was okay, and the check-in process was reasonably efficient. The room facilities were decent—all basic functions worked properly—and the housekeeping was acceptable, keeping the room fairly clean. However, one thing caught me by surprise and felt quite unreasonable. For a 5-star hotel under the Wyndham brand, the room surprisingly did not provide any tea bags or coffee packets. After going out for seafood in the evening, I still had a fishy taste in my mouth and wanted to brew a cup of coffee or green tea back in the room to rinse my mouth and cut through the greasiness, but I searched the entire room and couldn't find any complimentary drinks. These are standard room amenities with low costs, yet they were completely missing. It’s honestly a bit much. While the hardware foundation isn't bad, skimping on such basic amenities seriously detracts from the guest experience. I won't be considering Wyndham hotels next time.

The service at this hotel is wonderful. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, always quick to respond to my requests. The room was quiet and the bedding was comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a very convenient location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of choices ranging from traditional breakfast items to fresh fruits and vegetables. The facilities are top-notch, featuring a lovely swimming pool and a gym, all set in a very peaceful environment. The prices are very reasonable, offering great value for money.

This is an established hotel, so there's not much to say. Other than being a bit dated, everything else is fine. It's relatively convenient for visiting nearby attractions, and the location is decent. The service attitude is consistently good.

The room was quiet, the bedding was comfortable, and the staff were very polite, so I had a great rest. The transportation was very convenient. The hygiene was good, the service was attentive, and there was free parking. I traveled before the National Day holiday and overall had a very good experience. I recommend staying here! 🥰🥰

Check-in was efficient, and check-out was quick. The hot water in the room was consistently stable, and all the facilities were in good working order. The hotel has a gym and a swimming pool, and ordering takeout is very convenient. Right outside, you'll find Minnan Water Town, perfect for a post-dinner stroll and relaxation. The location is excellent, and the overall stay experience was very good. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zhangzhou.

The elevator's card access provides great privacy. The room comes with a bathtub, and the housekeeping staff can deliver disposable tub liners. There's also a gym and pool available. The room is quiet, and the bedding is comfortable. Overall, it was a very good experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.

Visiting Zhangzhou and exploring the ancient city, I stayed at this Wyndham hotel. Being a chain brand, it felt secure and reliable, plus you need to use your key card to access the elevators. The environment was comfortable and cozy, and the room even came with a bathtub. The hotel also has a gym and a pool, which is great for travelers. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Zhangzhou!

The hotel has a robot for food delivery, and the facilities and equipment are very complete. All the staff are very polite and proactively greet guests. The front desk handles check-in efficiently with strong professional skills, and check-out is also very quick, with no unnecessary waiting. Very good.

The stay was fantastic. The hotel environment is comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the room was clean and tidy. The room was clean and service was quick. It felt very cozy. From the check-in instructions to the small details, everything was thoughtful. It was also very convenient for staying with kids. Our whole family was very satisfied and we'd definitely come back!

The hotel experience exceeded my expectations. The service was attentive, and the staff were enthusiastic and professional. The room was quiet, the bedding was comfortable, the hot water was stable, and the facilities were in good condition. Overall, it offered good value for money. I would consider staying here again. I also enjoyed satisfying meals during my trip, which added a wonderful start to my day's itinerary.

This hotel has the classic charm of an older 5-star establishment. The room was spacious, clean, and the service was quite good. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's generally well-maintained. However, I'd suggest they pay closer attention to some details in the future. Our family of three booked a family suite with one large and one small bed, and two bathrooms. The power outlets under the two coffee tables by the sofa in the outer room weren't working. Also, the wooden panel under the sink in one of the bathrooms showed some moisture damage. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was still quite good. The breakfast was plentiful, and they offer free parking and EV charging stations.
