Very close to the ancient city, and transportation is quite convenient. The hygiene is acceptable. For this price, what more could you ask for? It offers good value for money. There are plenty of dining options nearby too, which is a plus.

Excellent, clean, and hygienic. Service: Great. Lots of food options nearby. It's about a 6-8 minute walk to the ancient town. The ancient town itself has a nice atmosphere and good snacks. I recommend going in the evening when it's lively and there are more stalls. I ended up wandering around for over two hours and only took a couple of photos! It's definitely worth visiting, much more thoughtfully done than other ancient towns.

Our stay was great overall. The owner even upgraded our room for free, which was a fantastic value for the price. The room wasn't huge, but the facilities and cleanliness were excellent. Plus, it's super convenient for getting around and very close to the ancient city. If I come back to Zhangzhou, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the old city, and surrounded by a wide variety of shops and restaurants. You can basically order all the local specialty foods of Zhangzhou via delivery. The hotel staff were also very helpful; they even assisted us in finding our food when the delivery didn't arrive, which was really great!

The hotel is located right outside the North Gate of the Ancient City. I originally booked a double room through Trip.com, but when I arrived, I asked the owner if I could switch to a twin room. The owner was very welcoming and upgraded me to a twin room for free. The room was quite spacious, the beds were large, and it was very clean with no strange odors.

The only good thing about this hotel is its 10-minute walk to the ancient city. It's located on the 6th floor of a 20-story building, sharing elevators with residents, which means long waits and crowded rides. There's no 24-hour hot water; the electric water heater runs out quickly. Even worse, there are no towels, just a single disposable paper towel per person. The air conditioning didn't work – I have no idea what the owner was thinking. For 400 yuan a night without breakfast, I guess I can let that slide, but they charge 30 yuan for parking per day. They even try to bribe you with free parking for a good review, which makes me wonder about all those positive reviews online. I fell for them and realized I was conned too late. I've never stayed in a place like this; it can't even be called a hotel, let alone a guesthouse. Seriously, be careful when booking here. Look at the negative reviews, not just the good ones, and pay attention to the honest feedback.
