Zhaoqing Xinghu Hidden Resort (Qixing Rock Arch Branch)

Facilities: The hotel is relatively new, and the facilities are all great, especially the smart toilet. Location: Excellent. It's right across the street from Qixing Arch Square, and you can see the lake from the hotel. Parking: Free parking is available. Breakfast: There's a good variety of choices. I would recommend this hotel to friends visiting the area.

This hotel is right next to the Seven-Star Crags Archway Square, but it's actually a bit far from the North and East gates of the Seven-Star Crags Scenic Area, about 3-4 kilometers, so you'll need to take a car. However, the surrounding area is quite lively. The hygiene and environment were decent. The pillows weren't very comfortable; they were a bit too high, and there were no medium or low options available. The only downside is that holiday prices were about 100 RMB more expensive than on weekdays or weekends. The front desk lady was very nice and accommodating, and she recommended a great sauna chicken dish. Overall, Zhaoqing is a very pleasant city with a beautiful natural environment, excellent mountains and water, and it's nice for leisurely walks and hikes.

The room was clean and tidy. For those driving, the hotel offers free outdoor parking. It's quite close to the Paifang Square, and from the 6th floor, you can see the musical fountain opposite in the evening. However, the double room felt a bit small, and the elevator was quite slow. Otherwise, everything else was good.

This stay was great! The hotel is very close to the Seven Star Crags scenic area, making it super convenient for getting around. It has a gym, self-service laundry, a rooftop, and a breakfast buffet, which is perfect for active travelers and those who enjoy a slower pace. The overall environment is clean and comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. I've already booked a room for October 17th to 19th directly on the high-speed train back to Guangzhou. I'm planning to visit again in the autumn! 😄

Great location! Right downstairs is Xinghu Plaza, and the night view from the rooftop overlooking the plaza is beautiful. Transportation and dining are both very convenient, and there's a laundry room. The only downside is that the exhaust fan in the room is a bit noisy.
