JW Marriott Hotel Zhengzhou

The location is fantastic, right by the lake, which is the most beautiful spot in Zhengzhou. It's lively at night with stunning views. I loved the lobby; it's stylish and cozy. The JW Marriott brand really delivers. The room was spacious with a great view, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, including delicious Hu La Tang (spicy soup) and Rou Jia Mo (meat burger), as well as various noodles. You can even take coffee to go – Marriott is quite generous. The Executive Lounge food was also very good, and the staff were well-trained; we ended up not going out for dinner. Xiao Luo from housekeeping left a handwritten welcome card and folded a heart, which was a lovely touch, thank you. The express service was very prompt, and I appreciated the weather forecast displayed inside the elevator – a thoughtful detail. Lucky at the front desk checked us in quickly; she was efficient and her warm smile was truly welcoming. Ms. Men Jingxue was also very enthusiastic, proactively greeting guests, guiding them to the front desk, and providing information about the hotel facilities and surrounding area. Thank you!

My accommodation in Zhengzhou during my Henan trip. Usually, tourists seem to stay near Erqi Square. However, since we needed to take a train from Zhengzhou East Station to travel across multiple cities, and also planned to visit 'Only Henan' (a scenic spot), plus I heard the scenery around 'The Big Corn' building was good, I specifically chose it as our accommodation for these few days. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Even more, I have to thank 'The Big Corn' for a fortuitous decision: because I chose to stay during two nights that were considered 'off-peak,' I adjusted our travel dates. If not for this, our trip would have coincided with a heavy rainstorm, making it impossible to go out at all. The room itself was fantastic – very large and spacious, with that classic five-star hotel feel. The bathtub was very comfortable for soaking, and the desk was convenient for work. Welcome fruits were also provided. However, the small snacks in the room that I saw mentioned in other reviews didn't seem to be there; I'm not sure if it was due to the room type or something else. The service was also excellent. Ms. Zhang Dongmei and Ms. Kong Mengge provided outstanding service. They were very responsive to all requests. When checking in, they directly offered a late checkout until 4:00 PM, which was incredibly convenient. Regarding the food, I was also very satisfied. The breakfast had a wide variety of options: Roujiamo (meat burger), Huimian (braised noodles), rice noodles, Hulatang (spicy soup), millet porridge, cold dishes, fruits, baked goods, and various Chinese and Western delicacies. It was exceptionally rich and satisfying. The executive lounge was also great; happy hour offered several hot dishes, fruits, desserts, and very good drinks. You could even print custom patterns on your coffee. The facilities, including the gym, swimming pool, and hot spring pool, were also very good. Amenities were plentiful; the swimming pool even had clean towels and non-slip slippers provided. Right downstairs is a large lake, and an evening stroll there with the breeze was very comfortable. I will definitely come back again.

Staying at the 'Big Corn' Marriott in Zhengzhou, the best part was definitely how well I slept. The pillows were just the right softness, the duvet was breathable, and the blackout curtains were superb – I slept soundly until morning. The front desk staff, Maggie and Lucky, were also very welcoming, and the room itself was spacious enough. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the shower pressure was excellent, making for a very relaxing experience. When traveling, a comfortable stay is so important, and they really delivered.

The service was great! We were celebrating my dad's birthday, and the hotel sent us a delicious birthday cake. The executive lounge service was also excellent; they even brought us special cocktails. The breakfast had great Henan characteristics, with roujiamo and spicy soup. My only suggestion is that the windows were a bit dirty, which affected the view.

The hotel is located in the CBD's 'Big Corn' building, and the 38th-floor sky lobby has a fantastic ambiance. The high-floor rooms offer panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of Ruyi Lake and the city's nightscape. It's especially therapeutic when the lights come on in the evening. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a peaceful rest after a busy day. The bathroom amenities were complete, and all the details were well taken care of. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and smooth. The staff were polite, courteous, and responded to requests promptly and thoughtfully. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, combining local flavors with international cuisine. The location is excellent, making it convenient for both business and leisure activities, including dining and shopping. It's suitable for both business travel and leisure trips. I'll definitely choose this hotel first on my next visit to Zhengzhou. Highly recommended!

The room views are consistently stunning, offering expansive vistas that lift your spirits. I'm also familiar with the pool and gym by now; coming here feels just like coming home. A good hotel is one you stick with once you're used to it, and this is definitely that kind of place.

The location is super convenient, the room is very clean with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The executive king room also includes executive lounge access with afternoon tea and light dinner. The views are amazing, with a panoramic vista of the overpass.

The entire check-in process was smooth and comfortable, and the staff member, Maggie, was gentle and thoughtful. Any requests were met as much as possible. The surrounding area offers convenient transportation, and it's quiet at night. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
