Kunshuo Hotel

This hostel is conveniently located between the Zhenyuan Railway Station and the ancient town street, yet the environment is quite peaceful. The rooms are quite compact and feature minimalist amenities, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you are travelling with large rolling luggage. Given the holiday pricing, it offers decent value for money, and the owner is very helpful and welcoming.

We stayed here for a night on our way to Fanjing Mountain, and it was excellent, exceeding our expectations. The proprietress was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and even suggesting a sightseeing route for the ancient town! The location is also fantastic, right next to Panlong Bridge, offering great views, especially at night.

Service: The owner is friendly and provides great service. Cleanliness: The room is clean and has a nice view. Location: Convenient, with many delicious local snacks nearby. On Sundays, there's a market nearby, full of local charm and a lively atmosphere.

The owner is very kind, just like a mother. It feels like home.

The room looked quite new and clean, and it was located next to the Wuyang River. There was a row of osmanthus trees at the entrance, which must smell wonderful when they bloom.

This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it was perfect for solo travel. The landlady was very welcoming and I highly recommend it. The place was clean and hygienic, with disposable towels and squat toilets. It was a small but cozy little room. I'd definitely come back next time I have the chance.

The landlady was incredibly kind. When I told her my back injury had just healed, she even rode her electric scooter to pick me up at the intersection – she was so incredibly welcoming! The owner was also very friendly. Drinking on the terrace at night with the view was amazing. The hostel's location was also very convenient, right by the river – beautiful! The other guests were from all over the country, and we all shared travel tips, which was great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the old town!
