Platinum Century Hotel (Zhongshan Dachong Hongbo City Branch)

The hotel service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making me feel completely relaxed and comfortable, truly uplifting my spirits. The surrounding scenery was grand and elegant, a vibrant and picturesque vista, as if I had stepped into the glorious Tang Dynasty. The ambiance was absolutely perfect, and the stay was superb!

This is a chain hotel located inside a furniture mall. The room is quite large, but the amenities are very basic – just a big bed, not even a proper desk or chair. There are a lot of mice; I heard them scurrying around all night. In the early morning, I even heard a mouse shriek, probably caught in a trap 😂. Even mice have it tough these days! Breakfast was mediocre; the only edible item from the buffet was the Cantonese rice noodles; everything else was pre-packaged. The front desk was often empty; it seemed understaffed. This hotel offers very poor value for money. Ctrip sells it for 20 RMB more than other sites. Not recommended.

Located near Hongbo City, the area has shops and restaurants nearby, and most of the shops along the street are wooden furniture stores. The air conditioning was inadequate, so we had to change rooms. After going to a karaoke bar nearby, the housekeeping department closed at midnight. The toilet was clogged, and even the front desk couldn't get drain supplies to fix it. We had to wait until 8 AM the next day for the housekeeping department to come and fix it. Luckily, it wasn't a major toilet blockage! 😡😡😡 Opened in 2025, but it doesn't feel very new. The room smelled of smoke, and we couldn't get a non-smoking room when we requested one.

This is my second stay. The hotel is newly renovated and clean. There is a parking lot downstairs. The staff are friendly and worthy of praise.

The hotel itself was very good and the attitude of the waiters was super kind. Unfortunately...it's a pity that the location of the hotel is really a bit remote, it's hard to find food around, like a deserted island.

The room facilities are quite good, the view is also quite good, the room decoration is suitable for our age group with a light luxury style, the front desk service is very good, and they can always meet my needs, which is very good. The entire Hongbo City scenic area is still very good to go shopping without going out in the sun. When we went there that day, there was also a performance, which was really a surprise. The whole family was very happy. The breakfast on the second day was also good, with my favorite toast, and the design of the lobby is very unique!
