Crowne Plaza ZHONGSHAN WING ON CITY by IHG

This hotel, a Crowne Plaza for over a decade, clearly shows signs of its past glory. The high-ceilinged, open-plan lobby reminds me a bit of the Futian Shangri-La, though it's nowhere near the same caliber. The shower area seems to have just been serviced, with new water-blocking strips and fresh caulking, but the room's hard furnishings are quite poor. There are mildew stains everywhere on the ceiling wallpaper. The linens also appear to be several years old, with patches and pilling; perhaps the cost was too high to update them in time. I won't even mention the service. For this price, you'd get better quality staying at an Atour.

This is one of the most comfortable 5-star hotels I've stayed at recently in China. While the hotel is a bit older, it offers excellent soundproofing and good lighting throughout. I especially want to thank Jerry and Huang Huilin at the front desk; their service was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. The hotel lobby, including the stairwells, is very spacious. Everyone was so welcoming and kind, it felt like being back in Europe.

The hotel is right in the city center, making it very convenient for transportation. There are tons of great food options nearby too. The room itself was bright and comfortable, and I really appreciated having access to the gym and outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast was also fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious choices. Definitely recommend! 👍

I come to Zhongshan for classes every weekend, so staying here is convenient. It's clean, comfortable, and the price is right. Great value for money!

Found a hidden gem! Willa, Vane, and Harry at the front desk provided excellent service. Check-in was efficient, and they proactively helped with luggage and offered a late check-out. Fantastic, I'll definitely be back!
