We booked a two-bedroom pool villa for two nights during the National Day holiday, and overall, it was a good experience. The service was generally excellent. We had a butler chat group for immediate assistance, and requests were promptly handled, including car services which were quite fast. In terms of facilities, the hotel is indeed a bit old. The living room lighting in our room was dim, and the bathroom door couldn't close properly. For the price, the minibar and coffee capsules were also somewhat disappointing. The courtyard pool was a bit chilly for swimming in October, but it was convenient to hop straight into the room for a hot shower afterward. The hotel's public facilities are comprehensive, with indoor and outdoor pools, and a wave pool, all great for families. Unfortunately, it was too cold to enjoy the outdoor public pool. Parking is free, and there's an EV charging station. The kids' club is quite small, and there aren't many family activities. Guests get free access to the beach, which is great for wading and digging in the sand. Breakfast was decent but nothing special, and there was no waiting even during the holiday. For dinner, there's a food street just a left turn from the hotel with many popular seafood restaurants offering good value for money. Overall, resort hotels are very weather-dependent. With good weather, strolling around is very pleasant and great for photos.

The room was very spacious with a direct, unobstructed ocean view. Walking in immediately lifted my spirits, although there was a slight musty smell. Still, the overall cleanliness was great—after all, it is a seaside hotel. There are plenty of activities at the hotel. On the afternoon we arrived, they had a bubble show in the lobby. The wave pool was also open in the afternoon, followed by a 'mountain treasure hunt' in the evening. When we returned from dinner, we caught another bubble activity. The kids had a blast. They thoughtfully provided two sets of afternoon tea; however, the taste was quite average, so we only took one set. The hotel is very close to Dongsha Beach. While admission isn't included, hotel guests can get an unlimited-entry pass for just 50 RMB.

Staying at The Westin Zhoushan Zhujiajian Resort this time was an overall experience that exceeded my expectations, absolutely deserving a 5-star review! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the direct ocean view room offered stunning vistas. Lying in bed in the morning to watch the sunrise over the sea was amazing, and the Westin Heavenly Bed had just the right firmness, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The breakfast at the restaurant was abundant, featuring both Chinese and Western options. The seafood noodles were flavorful with generous ingredients, making it a delight to eat while taking in the sea view. The outdoor landscape is another major highlight; the hotel has direct access to Dongsha Beach, which is complimentary with the room card. The sand is fine and soft, and the area is uncrowded and quiet. Taking a stroll and splashing in the waves at dusk was so relaxing, and the outdoor pool is also great for unwinding. Special thanks to Claire at the front desk. She was enthusiastic and professional during check-in, patiently introducing the hotel facilities and surrounding tourist routes, and thoughtfully reminding us of the sunrise time and beach entrance. Her meticulous and warm service made this vacation even more perfect. Highly recommended, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Zhoushan!

The Westin hotel has a fantastic location with direct ocean views and a beautiful environment. The rooms and facilities are well-maintained. It's a great place to stay if you are visiting Zhujiajian.

Traveling during the golden autumn season, I booked a partial sea view room. The lovely front desk receptionist upgraded me to a direct sea view room on the 6th floor. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony directly facing the ocean—simply amazing! Guests have free access to Dongsha Beach. The food at the hotel restaurant was very much to our taste, and the room service was so heartwarming, providing multiple bottles of drinking water. Very satisfied and highly recommended!

This hotel faces the sea, with Dongsha Beach right out the backyard. When purchasing different packages, there should be an option that includes admission to Donghai. I bought the package without it, so I had to pay separately. It costs ¥35 per ticket, and there's someone at the entrance checking tickets. If you don't buy a ticket, it's very convenient. You can go for a morning run, And take photos on the beach in the evening. Now, it doesn't feel like the hotel has its own private beach right outside. Overall, it's very convenient. There are many established restaurants right outside, and the seafood is very fresh.

On the last day of the National Day holiday, I took my 91-year-old mother on a off-peak road trip and booked this hotel. Before check-in, the butler Yomi learned that my elderly mother had mobility issues and immediately arranged a room with a direct ocean-view balcony, while also informing us that wheelchairs were available. This made us feel so warmly cared for. On the day of check-in, my mother was overjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sea, and we felt completely at ease. The hotel environment is lovely, with an inner garden pleasant for a stroll. In particular, the entrance to the complimentary Dongsha Scenic Area is super close, making it extremely convenient to take an elderly person over for a visit. All in all, my mother had a wonderful time on this Zhujiajian trip. She was satisfied with the hotel service and even more so with the butler Yomi. A truly worthwhile trip!

The front desk staff provided the best service, but the cleaning lady was terrible. She actually hung a used bathrobe back in my wardrobe, which made me doubt whether the other towels were even changed before being folded and put away. On the last day, I just couldn't be bothered to argue. I stay here every year, but the overall service has dropped again this year, especially in the restaurant. The staff in the breakfast room all had attitude problems. One day, a short, stocky man wiping down the tables complained in a very unhappy tone just as we sat down, saying he hadn't finished wiping yet. If it weren't for the kids with me, I would have definitely called the manager to complain. Also, one day the cups by the coffee machine in the breakfast room had a foul, foot-odor-like smell of a dirty dishcloth, which was disgusting.

Our family trip's stay exceeded expectations! The hotel's location is superb; you can access the beach right outside, making it easy to dig in the sand and wade in the waves. They also have a wave pool and a kids' club, perfect for a vacation with seniors and young children. The rooms are clean and spacious. Special thanks to our butler, Yomi! She upgraded our room type, provided incredibly thoughtful service, and was always responsive. Any request we had was quickly and properly handled. She was very considerate, helping us solve many small travel inconveniences, making the entire trip worry-free. The hotel environment is beautiful, and the facilities are complete. Whether you're going to Mount Putuo or dining in Shenjiamen, the location is very convenient.

Decided on a whim to visit Zhujiajian during the National Day Golden Week and booked the Westin nearby. The experience was fantastic! The buffet breakfast offered a great variety of choices; I missed out on the seafood noodles simply because I was too lazy to wait in line, but I'll definitely have to try them next time. Facilities: Complete, featuring both indoor and outdoor pools, as well as a fitness center. Cleanliness: Impeccable. Environment: Beachfront ocean views with stunning scenery. Service: Top-notch service.

The room had a lot of black mold, and there was a noticeable musty smell. For a holiday price that's almost 2K, this is supposed to be a high-end hotel, but the hygiene is really concerning. The amenities were good though; the swimming pool with the wave machine and the breakfast buffet were nice.

The sea view room offers an unbeatable view, and the room itself is very spacious. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained. The service is excellent, and the breakfast is plentiful.

The room directly faced the sea, and Melody at the front desk was so kind and helpful, providing all the information I needed. She even granted a late check-out, which made our kid's stay even more enjoyable. I usually have trouble sleeping in new beds, but I slept incredibly well, so the bedding must be very comfortable. We will definitely choose The Westin again for our next vacation.
