Manhattan International Apartment Hotel

This is an apartment-style hotel, similar to a budget hotel. The front desk is located inside a Manhattan bar, and the rooms are about 30 meters away, upstairs in the Huixing Talent Apartment building. There are many rooms on these upper floors, possibly managed by different hotels. Some rooms even have couplets pasted on their doors, indicating long-term residents. There's a shared laundry room that you can use by scanning a QR code to pay. Taking the elevator to the second floor leads you straight into a shopping mall. The mall has three floors and isn't very crowded, but it offers basic amenities. Although many shops are closed, there are still 20-30 dining options, a small supermarket, and bubble tea shops, including a hand-pressed lemon tea place. There are also three or four play areas for children, and on the first floor, an amusement park with go-karts and archery. On the third floor, there's a National Geographic Explorers Club, suitable for younger children. Additionally, this hotel is very close to the Ocean Park, with a taxi ride costing only about ten yuan. However, the area around the hotel is a bit desolate; aside from the mall itself, there's nowhere else to go, and it gets quite dark outside at night. Given that the surrounding family hotels are quite expensive, this one is relatively more affordable. But personally, I think paying over 500 a night for these conditions is still a bit pricey. It would be better if the hotel offered some special discount rooms. So, I'd say it depends on your needs. If you're bringing kids to Chimelong Paradise and don't want to book one of the big hotels, this place could be a convenient and affordable option. However, if that's not your reason for staying, I'd recommend staying in the city center, where it's cheaper and conditions are better. Breakfast is ordered from a small food cart outside. Each person can choose one main dish and one drink. If you pick wontons, noodles, or vermicelli, it comes with a cup of soy milk. If you choose buns, you can get two, plus an egg and a cup of soy milk. The front desk also provided two complimentary coffees.

The room was very spacious, and the front desk staff, especially the young man, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent service. Highly recommend!

Location: Not far from Hengqin Port, just a starting taxi fare. Getting to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom is less than 20 RMB. There's a large commercial area downstairs, making dining and shopping convenient. Cleanliness: Generally average, mainly due to the staff being a bit lazy. The sheets seemed to have been changed, but there were still hairs. There was also a dirty, used sheet left in the cupboard. Facilities: There's a laundry room available for an extra charge. The biggest plus is the spacious room. The most unsatisfactory aspect is the terrible soundproofing. You can clearly hear neighbors coughing, talking, closing windows, and flushing toilets. The room is in an apartment building that has been renovated. Besides the hotel rooms on the same floor, there are also private residents, and there's no elevator control. There's also a bad odor coming from the toilet. The refrigerator makes noise at night too, so it's not recommended for light sleepers.

The water suddenly cut out just as I was about to shower at night. They moved me to another room, but that one also had no water. I was told there was a sudden water outage. I had to pack up my things in the middle of the night, and there were even water stains under the mat next to the bed.

Everything was great except for the breakfast. It was served from a food truck, and the service was slow. The pictures showed a bar, but the actual hotel entrance was next door. The front desk staff didn't proactively tell us where to have breakfast either.

The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy. The service was warm and attentive, and they even offered free coffee.

Hygiene: Looked okay, but all four of us developed allergies (including family members who normally don't have them). It's likely an issue with the bedding. High-temperature disinfection is recommended. Environment: It's an apartment building with renters, long-term residents, and hotel guests. Initially, I felt it was safe. After going out once, I saw a pair of men's shoes plus a box by the door. At first, I thought it was a delivery, and there was a note. I later moved it to another spot, and when I turned around, the note had changed direction. A little while later, when I went in and out again, the shoebox was gone, and the note was propped against the wall. I opened it and saw something like 1999 or 6661, I just glanced at it. Looking back, this was clearly a sign that we were being marked. I was a bit worried, but thankfully we only stayed one night. Service: They said there were drinks, but there weren't any. Maybe they saw us as an elderly person and a child, and figured they could just brush us off, haha. I was super tired after a long international flight, too exhausted to say much. Facilities: Honestly, they were decent and had everything needed. However, the shower pressure was terrible, it was so slow. You could just rinse off, but washing your hair would be impossible. It would be better if there was a mirror in the bedroom, otherwise, if someone is doing their makeup in the bathroom, no one else can use it. I saw in the reviews that there was a construction site view, and since those reviews were a year old, I thought it would have been resolved. But it's still a construction site. Of course, this is something the owner can't help, but it's good for guests to be mentally prepared.
