Abest Yuanben S Hotel (Gongbei Port Square High-speed Railway Station)

The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the Gongbei Port, and it's less than a 10-minute walk to the high-speed rail station. The environment is generally very quiet unless there's a loud noise. The bathroom with its separate wet and dry areas is very convenient. However, in my room, some of the holes in the overhead shower were clogged, causing water to spray in a few directions when used. Overall, it wasn't a big issue.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the Macau Gongbei Port of Entry. It's conveniently located near a market and commercial area, making dining and shopping easy. However, due to its proximity to the border and high-speed rail station, there's a lot of foot traffic. Check-in was relatively quick, but upon entering the room, there was a strong, unpleasant smell of smoke. Opening the window only revealed dirty rooftops from other buildings, and the outdoor air conditioning unit was incredibly noisy, so much so that my companion couldn't sleep. The toiletries in the bathroom were also quite basic. The next day, I reported the smoke smell to the front desk, but the staff informed me that the hotel doesn't have non-smoking rooms.
