Not great value for money, and the parking is also very expensive.

We were initially given a room on the 6th floor, which had a strong smell of smoke and many tiny cockroaches upon entering, supposedly due to cooking. We were then switched to a room on the 11th floor, which was much better; there was no smoke or cockroaches. Everything else was acceptable. The staff helped with our luggage and assisted with other issues. The room is located between two restaurants.

This time I booked a duplex apartment very close to the Gongbei Port and the light rail station. The space was huge, highly recommended! Facilities: The room type is perfect for family trips; kids will love it. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area, so you won't disturb others. Cleanliness: The duplex apartment has two floors, and the rooms were spotless. Environment: It's surrounded by a commercial street, and there are plenty of restaurants and late-night snacks downstairs. Service: The service was very warm and welcoming; the overall experience was excellent!

We chose this apartment and both raved about it, saying it was the biggest surprise of our trip! **💡Facilities and Services:** The facilities are very complete, the Wi-Fi is fast, the air conditioning is powerful, and there's plenty of hot water. **Home-like Convenience:** The host is incredibly thoughtful; there's a kitchen, refrigerator, and washing machine—it's a travel essential! After a day of sightseeing, our clothes can be washed immediately, so convenient! 🛏️Accommodation Experience: The bedding was very comfortable, and we slept very well, which was very reassuring. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable, with complete facilities. It's excellent value for money, and the stay far exceeded our expectations. The location is convenient; it's just a few minutes' taxi ride from the border. "There are seafood stalls, barbecue restaurants, Chaozhou-style porridge shops, and a 24-hour convenience store downstairs"—truly convenient! The host provided a very detailed local food guide, which was a huge help.

I've booked countless hotels, and I never give a bad review easily, but this Meiying Times is the first! The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and infuriating! The room was old and not as clean and new as the pictures showed. For a group of six, they only provided two towels! If you can't afford that, I strongly suggest you don't even consider opening a hotel and ruining it for others! The bathroom floor was severely flooded, and there was no drainage! There was no hairdryer, and no cups for brushing teeth! I specifically requested a quiet room when booking, but the noise from cars outside woke me up early in the morning! The room's soundproofing was terrible; I could hear people walking upstairs and downstairs. The sound of people opening and closing doors outside was so loud it felt like they were opening my own room door! The parking fee was outrageous; they didn't even discuss it beforehand, and I was expected to be there very late. They never answered my WeChat or phone calls, but the security guard answered immediately! This hotel is now permanently blacklisted!

Although I had expectations, the reality was worse than I imagined. There were very few underground parking spaces, and the elevators were unusable; I had to transfer to a separate elevator for the hotel. The parking fee was 80 yuan when I left the next day, and over 200 yuan for the cars behind me. When I booked the hotel on Ctrip, the parking fee was listed as 2 yuan. Luckily, I drove out and didn't park there waiting to return from Macau. I asked the landlord about parking when I left, but he didn't reply. Later, he said he needed my license plate number to pay the 2 yuan fee, but why didn't he say that earlier? The guy who paid over 200 yuan said he was told parking was free when he booked the room, so it seems like a complete scam!
