Muxi Residence Boutique Stay (Zhuhai Dongao Island)

Unexpectedly good! It's super close to the port, just a few minutes' walk away. The environment and room are both excellent, very clean, and newly renovated. Plus, there's a projector and a balcony with a sea view. Absolutely amazing!

This is a very new guesthouse, and the room was clean and hygienic. It's very close to the pier, within walking distance. There are many places to eat and have breakfast nearby. Plus, there's a small seafood market next door where you can buy seafood and have it cooked.

The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. It's close to the pier and convenient for dining.

【Location】The location is super convenient, very close to the pier. 【Room Accuracy】I stayed on the third floor. The room wasn't too big or too small, and I could see a partial sea view from the balcony. It looked exactly like it did in the video. 【Room Condition】We checked in just half a month after they opened, so all the facilities and the decor were brand new. My favorite was the leather cushion under the TV, which could even be used as a small bed for a nap. 【Service Attitude】The owner was very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer any questions.

The room and bathroom were newly renovated, with no formaldehyde smell, and were clean and hygienic. A kettle, disposable towels, toilet seat covers, and toiletries were provided. The water pressure in the shower was strong, and the hot water was plenty hot. The view of the beach outside Dong'ao Wharf was excellent, making it very good value for money. The owner mentioned there's also a branch on Wai Lingding Island, so I plan to stay there on my next holiday.

The guesthouse was newly opened, with new facilities, a nice environment, and a balcony. It provided shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, as well as disposable towels, slippers, and bottled water – quite comprehensive. The owner's service was also good; they offered luggage storage and allowed us to use the toilet. The only downside was that when we arrived at 1:30 PM, the owner said it wasn't check-in time and the room hadn't been cleaned yet, but they'd check us in anyway and let us know when we were ready (now I realize, why check us in before we could even check in?). So we went to eat, and when we returned at 2:00 PM, we still couldn't check in because they hadn't even started cleaning, even though it was already check-in time… They said other guests checked out late, which I don't understand; even if guests check out late, they should check out before midnight. We waited another half hour until 2:30 PM before finally checking in. Also, there was only one power outlet in the room, so two people had to take turns charging their devices. They should have installed outlets on both sides of the bed during the design phase; it was very inconvenient. The room wasn't soundproof; you could hear everything outside. Despite its shortcomings, I was generally satisfied. Considering it's newly opened, I would recommend staying there.

Service: Very attentive and friendly. We went on a weekday, so the island wasn't crowded. Dong'ao Island is quite large, with a big beach, making it a great and relaxing destination.
