Zhuhai Fuhuali Jiuzhoudao Shopping Park Atour X Hotel

I stayed at the Zhuhai Gongbei Port Fuhuali CBD Light Hotel during the New Year's Day holiday, and my overall experience was quite ordinary. Compared to the nearly 700 RMB holiday rate, I felt it wasn't good value for money. The hotel's location is its main advantage, being close to Gongbei Port and the Fuhuali commercial district, which indeed makes getting around, shopping, and dining convenient. The toiletries in the room were also of decent quality, which was a positive aspect of the stay. As a hotel under Atour, I had expected a consistent standard, but the actual experience fell short. For instance, the comfort of the bedding and pillows wasn't comparable, and amenities like toothbrushes had no color distinction while the toothpaste was different – these inconsistencies in detail undermined the brand experience. The most prominent issue during this stay was the sound insulation. My room was located near the elevator, and I could clearly hear conversations in the hallway outside the door and daily life noises from the adjacent room (like boiling water or flushing). In particular, I could distinctly hear cleaners chatting in the corridor early in the morning, which significantly impacts light sleepers or guests who stay up late. Additionally, while the environment was clean and bright, there were some disappointments regarding the facilities: the decor style seemed a bit dated, and the room only had one chair, making it very inconvenient for two people to sit down to eat or relax simultaneously. There's room for improvement in the service process; even before the scheduled check-out time, I experienced continuous knocking and phone calls urging me to leave, which felt a bit intrusive. While I understand the price premium due to the New Year's Day holiday, a comparative look suggests that with the same or a slightly higher budget, there might be other newer options nearby with more stable service. I didn't get to try the breakfast included with the hotel or other public facilities (laundry room, gym, etc.), so I can't comment on them. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations, and I suggest the hotel could improve its sound insulation and facility details.

The location is super convenient, it's clean and hygienic, and the service is excellent. The laundry service was especially thoughtful; we basically left our clothes in the laundry room overnight and woke up to find them washed, dried, and neatly folded by the hotel staff.

Although the hotel is small, the service and breakfast are very good. I absolutely love the coffee take-out service! The hotel offers great value for money and the kids really enjoyed it.
