Le Royal Hotel - Beirut

Very clean room with an excellent vie of the Mediterranean Sea. We had an enjoyable night at Le Jardin Du royal restaurant with their extravagant special BBQ night. Highly recommended.

Very good for family or couples

very good hotel

Very nice hotel with great views

Despite paying for an upgrade, we were assigned an older, poorly maintained room that was inferior to the regular rooms we’ve had in past stays.

Well my review of the hotel is bit complicated. Location 5 over 5 .Wow. View 5 over 5 .Fantastic Staff 5 over 5 .Amazing. Food 5 over 5.Very Yummy. The rooms needs serious renovation, too old rooms . We have an issue on reception with Rudy AbuJawdé, we were tricked by rates and we even had to pay extras, of what was booked originally and paid. A great spent vacation in the hotel.

Excellent location with view of the city & the sea. Clean rooms, excellent service, excellent breakfast. Very pleased.

The room as well as the service was magnificent! I had a great stay and would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Beirut.

We booked the Superior Room, 1 Queen Bed. We were so excited because the room has a private pation and pool. When we got there, we had the worst experience. First, the room smelled horrible. The furniture were all dirty you don’t even feel you want to sit on the chairs or the couch. The private pool was very shallow. It was half way filled. There were all bugs in it and the bottom was covered with sand. It seems like they haven’t maintained the area in such a long time. We asked to change the room. But, the second room we saw had rhe same smell. Then, we were offered a third room. It smelled like it was sprayed with purfume. We asked to cancel the stay but they only agreed to refund the second night. Even though, we paid $310 for the first night, we did not stay. We preferred to take the loss rather than staying in this hotel. It is rated as a 5 star hotel, but it really should be a 1 star.
