Novotel Zurich City West

The room was spacious and clean. The hotel lobby area has a bar and is decorated in bright colors. The hotel also has a swimming pool and a garden. The hotel staff were very responsible and enthusiastic. The hotel's location is good, about a 10-minute tram or taxi ride from Zurich train station. It's also about a 10-minute drive from the Old Town. There are many restaurants nearby, and the area is very lively.

This was a very clean hotel. The staff were friendly and excellent. The lobby area, with its large TV and bar, was a stylish space. They were even showing the World Cup, which was a nice touch. The rooms were clean and tidy, making it a place I'd definitely want to stay again. The access was great too, as it's just a short tram or train ride from Zurich Central Station. The park in front of the hotel was lovely, and while there was a lively futsal tournament happening outside, it wasn't noisy inside. Checkout was also convenient, as you just had to drop the key in a key box.

Excellent hotel, clean, and well-located. My family was satisfied with everything.

A rather charming hotel with good value for money, and it's very convenient to get to the city center.

Checked out early in the morning to store my luggage before heading to Zermatt, planning to check in again the next day. However, the front desk surprisingly informed me that luggage storage was only allowed for same-day retrieval due to security reasons. This forced me to rush to Zurich HB to find alternative luggage storage, causing me to miss my original train and delaying my entire day's itinerary. If this policy is in place, it's understandable, but the hotel should clearly state it beforehand so guests can plan accordingly and avoid disrupting their travel plans.

The hotel room and breakfast both exceeded our expectations, and every staff member was incredibly friendly!

Overall, it's a decent hotel. The breakfast was fine. My main complaint is the room cleaning; there was hair everywhere and the toilet was dirty. Another issue is the ventilation system; it blows cold air, and it seems to be forced ventilation that you can't turn off or close. It gets very cold even with the air conditioning off. Plus, both the ventilation and AC units were dusty and dirty. 😥
