Overall, it was quite good. The room was new, and the hotel itself was also very new and clean. The only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way. Also, the staff came in to clean early in the morning without knocking.

We stayed in Renaissance Zurich during two very hot summer days. It is a great city hotel, located in Zurich’s brownfield area (old industrial zone with blend of old factories and new architecture), outside of the city center but well connected. In Zurich, nothing is too far away. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. AC was adequate (temperature didnt go below 24C qt full power). Spa area and gym was great with unique views of the city (there are not many tall buildings in the city to get such a birds eye view on the old industrial area of Zurich. Beware that some guests go fully clothed into the sauna.
