Piha beach ,new zealand piha has black sand swept up the coast from entrance to the waikato river piha is highly popular with tourist come to swim and lap up the sun on the beach ther are beachfront parking there are public toilets and changing sheds in the middle of the beach next to the moana steam there is one takeaway on the beach murrays serving ice cream drink and simple takeaways i come around march-april the water still cold not recomend to swim but walk around the beach to sea view is also amazing you can spend 1-2hour here so very nice beach dont miss it and dont forget take a picture at downhill before arrival the beach #staycation #beachlife

Try It Out Vietnamese Restaurant This place was highly recommended by my sister, so we just had to try it out while we were en route to Hamilton from Auckland. We ordered pho with rare beef, spring rolls vermicelli and grilled pork vermicelli. All our orders were really really good. The beef tasted fresh, and the broth was very flavourful and fragrant. We especially love the grilled pork skewers. Very generous portions of meat which were tender and seasoned to perfection. We really enjoyed our meal. All our orders were exactly what you would expect out of great Vietnamese lunch. Price wise, it was rather pricey compared to other Vietnamese outlets, but the taste was satisfying. Auckland's Lavender Hill Farm will amaze you with its dreamy lavender fields! 💜 Now until the end of January is the lavender season, and the photos are just beautiful! ✨ Here, you can visit the lavender fields and listen to the farm staff explain how to produce lavender oil with a steam distiller. You can not only learn something new but also feel the charm of nature. It's a win-win! 🐑 In addition, there are cute alpacas waiting to be fed on the farm. Your heart will melt when you interact with them! Also, you can enjoy the city view from the top of the farm! 🍸 Visit the gorgeous new gin distiller, learn how gin is made, and how olives are harvested and made into oil. Don't forget, there are free gin and limoncello tastings, which is a great benefit! Also, the staff will share their sustainable product-making experience, which is very meaningful. 💰 The tickets are also very affordable, $25 for adults, and free for children under 15. However, please pay attention to the weather changes and book in advance. 🕒 The holiday hours are slightly different. The farm is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and December 29 to January 2. The farm is open from 10 am to 3 pm on other days! 🌳 Nature exploration Waitakere Ranges Regional Park covers 28 square kilometers of vast forests, rivers, and beaches on Auckland's west coast. It is one of 22 easily accessible conservation parks from the city center, with over 250 kilometers of walking trails for visitors to explore the majestic mountains. 🚶 Hiking experience - Kitekite Falls Track: This trail takes you to a beautiful waterfall, which takes about 45 minutes, and you can swim in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall. - Karekare Falls: Near Piha Beach, the walk to the falls is short and easy, but includes stairs and is not suitable for wheelchair users. - Hillary Trail: This is a self-guided four-day hike through dense native forest and the wild coastline of the Waitakere Ranges. 🌊 Coastal adventure The seaside side of the park is the west coast surfing beaches of Whatipu, Karekare, Piha, Bethells, and Muriwai. These beaches are known for their black sand and rough waves. 🐦 Bird watching At Muriwai Beach, you can see the gannet colony on the cliffs. 🏨 Crowne Plaza Auckland 📍 128 Albert Street, Auckland, New Zealand I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Auckland, located in the heart of the city, and it was incredibly convenient! The Atrium on Elliott shopping center is right downstairs, and almost all the popular spots are within walking distance. 🚶‍♀️ It's particularly close to the Sky Tower, the Civic Theatre, and the Aotea Centre, and there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. 🛎️ The reception staff were warm and professional. The hotel boasts a stylish, modern design. Upon arrival, the receptionist greeted us enthusiastically and efficiently checked us in. The hotel is well-equipped with a restaurant, bar, gym, sauna, business center, and 10 meeting rooms of varying sizes to suit a variety of needs. 🏠 Our room had a modern, minimalist style and was comfortable and clean. We stayed in a club room with an incredibly comfortable large bed. The room also had a refrigerator, TV, and other amenities that fully met our daily needs. Plus, the 24-hour club lounge overlooks the beautiful Auckland Harbour and offers complimentary breakfast and snacks. 🚶‍♀️ There's so much to do around the hotel. The Sky Tower is just a few minutes' walk away, and you can also visit nearby attractions like the Bush and Beach Scenic Tours and Aucky Walky Tours. If you're a foodie, be sure to check out restaurants like The Grove, Sails Restaurant, and Cafe Hanoi. Highly recommended! My stay at the Crowne Plaza Auckland was a delightful experience, perfectly blending a convenient location with excellent service, not to mention the incredibly delicious breakfast. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Auckland. 🌟

The chicken Vietnamese sandwich (also called Banh Mi) had a curry flavour inside, and the combination with cucumber and carrots was quite nice. It would have been even better with a crispy baguette, which the manager said is an option. Many selections of good food such as rice salad bowl, vietnam delicacies, sandos, and even breafkfast toast. I like the hot chocolate and the sandos especially ebi sandos, so yum... the eggs benedict also delicious. The services are fast and friendly. #newzealandtrip #couplestrip #Vietnamesefood

#newzealandtrip Excellent food n beautiful presentation, enjoyed every single bite of the meal. This cozy restaurant is one of the best vegan place in town and has left the best impressions. We went for the breakfast n started off with espresso white and then ordered two mains mushroom halloumi & vegan omelette. The Cafe owner was very friendly and knowledgeable n gave us complimentry beetroot pie which was very well textured. It's now my goto place for BF/Brunch. Highly recommend!

#newzealandtrip Been hearing a lot about chur bae so i had to check it out! it was quite busy the day we came but the service was great and attentive. Started off with the matcha latte, i've been trying matcha from multiple places in auckland seeing which one is the best. Chur bae was good. creamy and not too grassy which i like, i do hope for a more vibrant green though. We got two dishes the kimchi fried rice with fried chicken and tried their happy hour of fried chicken and fries. the kimchi fried rice was great! i love kimchi so i knew i would enjoy this. The fried chicken i had added on was i think some of the best fried chicken i ve had, delicious, crunchy outside, tender juicy inside. The happy hour meal was awesome aswell! those fries were so crunchy and the chicken was again awesome!! good prices as well and such a good spot to meet a friend or have a meal. the atmosphere was really cool as well. These meals were such a hit personally and can't wait to head back and try another dish.
