Unforgettable Adventures with Ameliya Safaris
After an extraordinary safari to Bandhavgarh and Kanha national parks with Ameliya Safaris in June last year, I decided to return and explore three new destinations with them: Jamoon on the edge of Corbett National Park, Satpura National Park, and Pench National Park. Just like before, it was an unmatched jungle adventure!
At Jamoon, I spent time in photographic hides, enjoyed breakfast along the banks of the Ramganga River, and even spotted Indian elephants and a tiger while on foot! At Satpura, I embarked on my first-ever boat safari in India, witnessing more birds and wildlife in one afternoon than I had on my entire previous trip. The highlight was seeing FIVE tigers together—a mother with her three sub-adult cubs along with their father. Seeing a massive male tiger up close was a dream come true!
Pench was equally incredible, featuring my best-ever sighting of dhole (Indian wild dogs) with their pups in the road, as well as five more tigers—a huge male crossing the road, a female marking a tree near us, and an unforgettable moment of a mother with two tiny cubs!
What I value most about Ameliya Safaris is their focus on all wildlife, not just tigers. We spent time with deer, monkeys, gaur, and even a relaxed jungle cat, while also identifying over 90 bird species. Their guides stand out because of their exceptional local knowledge and genuine friendliness—they made me feel like part of their family!
If you're considering a jungle safari in India, Ameliya Safaris is the way to go—you won’t be disappointed!
