#winterescape this was a cold and beautiful winter in Amberg . Since 6-7 years wasn’t snowing these much. The atmosphere created is just amazing. And there are so many things to visit and spend great time . Oh there are also many restaurants that serve delicious food

Enter through the west gate, and visitors can admire the tall altar from the main hall. Tall altar painting Created by a court painter in Munich in 1766. St. George is the heir of Christ. Lecture hall This church was built in 1702 and is located between the north aisle and the central nave, possibly designed by Father John Hoffman. The statue of Saint Michael is carved on its bell tower. In his right hand, a scroll proclaims that heaven and earth will pass away, but the word of God will endure forever. Above the circular arch that separates the side hall from the main hall, there are 12 plastered statues of apostles reaching into the room, 6 on each side.

The second photo is a cool near mint condition Trabant I saw near the train station. Trabbis as they were known in East Germany were very much the standard sort of card you'd find behind the Iron Curtain.
