It is about an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur, and along the way there are rural and river scenery. As soon as I arrived at the scene, I felt a quiet atmosphere that was completely different from the city. After buying the ticket, I lined up to take a traditional hand-rowed wooden boat. Each small boat only carries 4 people and is led by a local boatman. As the sky gradually darkened, the boat slowly slid into the river, and only the slight sound of water and the chirping of insects could be heard. Suddenly, dots of light flashed between the mangroves on both sides, like a sky full of stars landing on the treetops-that is the legendary fireflies. They danced and flickered, and some would flicker collectively, like a rhythmic light show of nature, so beautiful that it took my breath away. The whole journey took about 20 to 30 minutes, but the quiet and surprising experience was unforgettable. Remind everyone not to turn on the flashlight or use the flash to take pictures, so as not to scare the fireflies. It is recommended to arrive before dusk so that you can have a seafood dinner nearby and then slowly wait for the night to fall. This is a night attraction in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur that is well worth visiting.
