A lost traveler’s survival guide to Xinjiang
I have a fatal flaw—I can’t tell east from west, and I can get lost even with navigation. So before going to Xinjiang, my biggest worry wasn’t the scenery but whether I would lose myself.
How big is Xinjiang? One county can be bigger than a city in the mainland. For me, self-driving there is basically self-torture.
Later, a friend recommended a small group tour. 2–6 people, with a car and driver included, and the route all planned. For someone like me who gets lost easily, all I have to do is get in the car and sleep, then get out and take photos.
The driver is a local, speaking Mandarin with a Xinjiang accent, which feels very warm. He quietly drives while we sleep and stops on his own at scenic spots. One time I woke up groggily to find the car stopped in front of a wildflower hill with no one around. The driver said, “You were sleeping so I didn’t call you. Now that you’re awake, it’s the perfect time to get out and take pictures.”
The other girls in the car were also traveling alone, and we quickly became friends chatting along the way. At night, we ate watermelon in the guesthouse courtyard while the driver played the dombra twice. Although he wasn’t very skilled, the atmosphere was amazing.
The self-care for a lost traveler is to admit you can’t find your way, then hand the wheel over to someone reliable.

Exploring the museums in Paris felt like stepping into a living timeline of art, history, and culture. Each museum had its own character — from the grandeur of the Louvre, where the Mona Lisa quietly draws endless crowds, to the more intimate charm of the Musée de l'Orangerie, home to Monet’s peaceful Water Lilies.
I was amazed not only by the artworks but by how effortlessly art is woven into the fabric of the city. Paris doesn’t just preserve history — it displays it with pride. Even lesser-known museums, like Musée Rodin or Musée d'Orsay, left a deep impression. Standing face to face with masterpieces I had only seen in books or online felt surreal. #france #paris #travel #museums

🇫🇷Travel to a small city in northern France, Arras
Arras, France, is a city located in the northern part of the Ronaldo region.
The Grand Place, located in the center of Arras, is a beautiful square famous for its buildings of various architectural styles and flower markets.
The Cathedral of Arras is a Gothic cathedral in northern France, and has artistic value and historical significance.
If you take the elevator up, you can see the entire city of Arras.
It was interesting to see a completely different type of architecture than Paris, as it is a northern city!
