The place we're going is Ohashi Cherry Farm. We're traveling by private car. We left Sapporo early in the morning, because the journey takes 2 hours and 15 minutes. We opted for the public field entrance fee, which is about 3600 yen. During the month we went, there were two varieties of cherries available for picking. You can eat as much as you want while picking. If you pick too much, you can take it home. The staff will weigh it and put it in a box for you. The price is based on weight, but it's not too expensive. Before entering the farm, a staff member will explain how to pick the cherries. The staff were very nice. If you're worried about whether your parents, aunts, or uncles can walk up the hill, there are some areas that aren't too steep. To finish off and beat the heat, they have soft-serve ice cream 🍦 topped with plums – it was delicious! If you're planning to go, check their website carefully.
