Day ①
🚄 Take the [Shenbai High-speed Rail] to "Changbai Mountain West Station" or fly to "Changbai Mountain Airport." It is recommended to book a hotel at Changbai Mountain Wanda International Resort in advance, which offers airport and high-speed rail shuttle services. After checking in, you can enjoy snow viewing, snow entertainment, and skiing time.

📸 Head to the wide-open and magnificent snowy Changbai Mountain West Scenic Area. Enjoy the volcanic landforms of Changbai Mountain during the hike, and from the summit, overlook the frozen Tianchi Lake. After descending, visit the Changbai Mountain Huamei Shengdi Resort, featured in the CCTV variety show "Living in the Scenery · 72 Hours."
🏂 Ski, play with snow tubes, experience rime ice rafting, snow balloon rides, powered paragliding, ride all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles across the snowfields, get close to sika deer, arctic foxes, and alpacas, and enjoy unique experiences like deep snow camping, snow house hot pot, and winter ice fishing! Stay overnight at a forest hot spring hotel and soak in the natural hot springs of Changbai Mountain.
Day ③
💧 Visit the Nongfu Spring Study Base, a great place for educational tours. Learn about water concepts and knowledge in a water knowledge class, then head to the Lushui River Changbai Mountain Hunting Resort, which has a forest coverage rate of 95.5%.
🦌 The resort is covered in snow in winter. Walk through the snowy forest to admire the rime ice spectacle up close and take beautiful snow photos. The resort has a year-round warm spring river that does not freeze in winter, perfect for winter rime ice rafting and enjoying the rime ice and snowy forest scenery on both banks. Visitors interested in traditional hunting can experience it with a hunting guide. Stay overnight in a forest cabin.
Day ④
🏛️ Visit the Fusong Ginseng Museum to learn about the growth, distribution, harvesting, and customs of ginseng, gaining a deeper understanding of the ginseng culture in Fusong County, known as the "Hometown of Chinese Ginseng."
🛍️ Then head to Wanliang Town to visit the ginseng market, the largest professional ginseng trading market in Asia. Ginseng is everywhere here, with many varieties available to buy by the box or bag to take home as gifts! After the market, enjoy delicious dishes like ginseng stewed chicken and wild vegetables at local restaurants.

Day ①
🚙 Drive to Baishan or take the high-speed train to [Baishan East Station], then rent a car to start your border adventure.
🐟 The first stop is Longshan Lake, formed by the dam of the Yalu River Yunfeng Hydropower Station. Longshan Lake has a vast water area with islands and continuous mountain peaks along the shore. In winter, the lake is frozen, and the mountains are snow-covered, full of winter charm. After sightseeing, visit the fishing and hunting culture town and taste fresh lake fish and Yalu River fish.
🛣️ Then drive along the border National Highway G331, enjoying the border scenery while heading to Changbai County. Stop at the Weisha River viewing platform to admire the Yalu River scenery on both sides and the Sanwu Youth Copper Mine on the opposite bank. Stay overnight in Changbai County.
Day ②
🏕️ Head to Changbai Sihai Weijia · Xijing Xuelu Camping Site, nestled by mountains and water. In winter, snow falls on the forest, and the creek is covered with ice crystals, winding like a silver dragon. The creek bank features rime ice scenery, peaceful and beautiful.
⛄ The campsite has independent snow house lodges, a scenic restaurant, starry sky café, hot spring pools, snow bonfire square, archery range, forest boardwalk, and ATV off-road routes. It is perfect for family trips, friends' outings, and team-building to share winter vacation time.
Day ③
🎋 In the morning, visit the Millennium Cliff City Scenic Area along National Highway G331. The scenic area is built on cliffs at the China-North Korea border. Climb the glass corridor bridge to overlook the neighboring country’s scenery. The scenic area hosts a "Ice and Snow Exploration" themed season in winter, with snow slides, snow mazes, an ancient market ice rink, and activities like skiing, snow tubing, sledding, and ice biking.
📸 The creek water ancient village features ice waterfall roses, and the Blessing Cliff also has ice waterfall scenery, perfect for photos. The scenic area offers ice and snow folk courses and intangible cultural heritage experiences for study tours, where you can learn to make traditional rice cakes and kimchi with locals.
🇨🇳 In the afternoon, visit Changbai Port Scenic Area to check in at the national gate and China’s 32nd boundary marker. Climb the Changhui International Bridge and experience standing with one foot in two countries on the border line.
Day ④
🏞️ In the morning, visit Tashan Park, the highest altitude park in Northeast China. The park has wooden boardwalks and stone steps for a leisurely hike to enjoy the winter mountain forest scenery. From the top, overlook Changbai County and visit the ancient Lingguang Tower from the Tang Bohai Kingdom period.
🏡 After descending, visit the Changbai Orchard Folk Village, a Chinese ethnic minority characteristic village. Stroll through the village, admire the snowy border village scenery, tour traditional houses, visit the folk culture museum, and learn about local life and production customs. You can also enter homes to experience making kimchi and taste border delicacies like black buns, cold noodles, bibimbap, and barbecue.
🏠 Travelers with more time can stay overnight in the village and continue exploring Changbai County the next day.
