Luscious greenery at Tree Top Walk Sedim
The Treetop walk in the luscious green forest was an amazing experience. The view was beautiful and it was so peaceful and tranquil, it felt like I was in my own little world. It was so different from the hustle and bustle of the city; the air was so clean and fresh. The freshness of the air reminded me of how much I miss being out in nature and how it can be a great escape from everyday life. The platform was very sturdy and I didn't feel scared at all. I was also able to view wildlife from up there which was a nice experience. I would definitely recommend taking a walk on the Treetop walk in the forest, it is an experience not to be missed!#awesomepic #forest

Dusun Tok Wak, Refreshing Healing Port in Baling
#myhiddengems
Escape to the tranquility of Ulu Legong, Baling, and immerse yourself in the distinct allure of Dusun Tok Wak. Nature lovers and foodies alike are drawn to this undiscovered treasure, which offers the ideal fusion of eco-tourism experiences, river dining, and traditional Malay village life.
Picture this: tables and chairs placed directly in the river, a feast of regional cuisine chosen by none other than Pak Long, the owner of Dusun Tok Wak. For tea break, we were served with Pak Long’s specialties, such as Kopi Madu Lebah Kelulut (Stingless Bee Honey Coffee), Teh Madu Lebah Kelulut (Stingless Bee Honey Tea) and Mi Goreng Madu Lebah Kelulut (Stingless Bee Honey Fried Noodles).
To me, Dusun Tok Wak works perfectly well as a mental health retreat in the peaceful surroundings of nature. A tranquil haven is created by lush greenery, calming river, and immersive experiences like riverfront dining and river bathing. Besides the sound of nature like flowing water and chirping bird, Pak Long’s gracious hospitality makes it even better as a nurturing spot to recharge and recuperate.

Durian in Malaysia
🇲🇾Dusun Tok Wak in Baling
This semester's Community-Based Tourism (CBT) course, the group assignment destination for the whole class is about the community tourism project in Baling📖
Picking up durians that have just ripened and fallen under the durian tree, and also saw two hundred-year-old durian trees. I have to say, durians from old trees are really delicious!!! Fresh durians from old trees that have just fallen, each with a different flavor, very satisfying~
Picked mangosteen with a small net by myself, sweet to the core, and also rambutan, longan, and a local fruit that looks weird, smells like mango, and tastes sour for the first time~
The park also has fresh cocoa and Java coffee☕️
Hahaha, I have to say, the cost-performance ratio of durian gardens in Malaysia is really high!

An Enchanting Exploration of Gua Sireh
#familytrips2024
🦇 Gua Sireh, located in the tranquil town of Kampung Padang Cik Mas, Mukim Pulai, is a popular destination for both locals and visitors from abroad.
We started our exploration of Gua Sireh with a gentle warm-up, preparing ourselves for the enchanting journey that awaited. Climbing a staircase to the cave’s opening heightened our anticipation, and the distinct scent of bat guano in the air added an authentic touch to the natural ambiance.
My awe deepened the moment I saw a massive stalagmite in the shape of sirih junjung (a stack of betel nut leaf using in Malay’s wedding ceremony) at the entrance, a breathtaking introduction to the wonders concealed within the cave. Continuing our path, I marveled at the diverse limestone formations, like lion’s head, ear hole, broken boat and many more, each unveiling a new facet of nature’s artistry. The most interesting one is at the Gong Gallery, where you can really hit a huge limestone to produce gong-like noises.
Open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays from 10am to 5.30pm

Weng Valley - Hidden Gem in Baling, Kedah
Kat KL ada Mid Valley, kat Baling ada Weng Valley.
Never have I thought a trip to Weng Valley can be such a memorable one. Nestled in the scenic landscapes of Baling, Kedah, Weng Valley is definitely a hidden gem where you should explore.
During our trip here, we were spoilt with local delights like kuih cucur jawa, kuih bingka sawit, peknga and roti Arab as well as some Baling specialty, Gulai Daging Batang Pisang and more.
The Lebah Kelulut Weng Valley bee farm was a buzzing hive of excitement. I got up close and personal with the world of stingless bees, not to mention tasting some of their honey and sipping on fresh honey! To me, the stingless bee honey tasted a little bit sourish sweet and it taste good when added into coffee.
The villagers here are very friendly and welcomed us with embracing smiles and chats. I also amazed with some beautiful houses that are decorated with upcycle goods!
Riding the ATV into the oil palm plantation makes this trip all-worthy. Imagine a city boy entering the field on a heavy-duty machine. That's really something for me.
