We ran into countless issues. Here’s the most honest, unfiltered guide online to warn you off and offer emergency solutions all at once! ❌ Four real reasons not to visit in August and September 1. Extreme heat in the south, feels like 40℃+ making sightseeing impossible Andalusia (Seville, Córdoba, Granada) is the hardest hit area. Daytime temperatures at noon soar to 38–42℃ Outdoor attractions and old town alleys have no shade. Walking for 10 minutes leaves you dehydrated. UV rays are intense, causing sunburn and peeling in half a day Spain’s traditional siesta from 2 PM to 5 PM means shops and small stores close completely. I finally made it after two years! We went to tour the inside of the Sagrada Familia. I booked the 9:15 AM slot about a month in advance! Even then, the 9:00 AM slot was already sold out. The last time I visited, I tried to book too last-minute and couldn't get a reservation, so I played it safe this time. We arrived around 8:30 AM and spent some time walking around and taking pictures of the exterior. Entry was a breeze—you just show your ticket and walk right in! I explored the inside while listening to the audio guide on the app! After finishing the interior tour, there were tons of museum-like exhibits to see, and I really enjoyed the gift shop too. Since I was traveling with my elderly mother this time, we didn't go up the tower, but if I ever get the chance again, I'd love to climb it next time.

There were four of us, but the antipasto for two was more than enough! And it was absolutely amazing. What really blew me away was the tuna tartare. It was seasoned very simply, letting the natural flavors shine through, and they even mixed in some toro (fatty tuna)—it was incredibly delicious. I was in absolute heaven eating it. For the paella, we went with the traditional option. It was the perfect amount for the four of us to share. Packed with seafood and super satisfying! The lemon sorbet was light and refreshing!
