I'd always wanted to see the aurora from an airplane, so I felt like I'd achieved about 60% of my travel goal by the time I got there. It's a long flight, and this flight departs in the daytime, so it gets dark outside and you might accidentally fall asleep, but in winter, if you keep a close eye on the outside, you might be able to see the aurora 🤭 (Note that it won't be this clear with the naked eye).
