Australia's Northern Territory, Antarctica, the Amazon rainforest, the Rocky Mountains, etc. are all listed as "the last virgin land on earth". One of the most popular forest parks in the Darwin area of the Northern Territory is probably the protagonist of this introduction - Litchfield National Park. Litchfield National Park is about 130 kilometers from Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory. It is an easy day trip or a stay for several days, making it a great place for locals to go on holidays. Litchfield National Park was established in 1986 and covers an area of 1,458 square kilometers. The park has dense tropical rainforests, spectacular waterfalls, clear pools for visitors to swim safely, fascinating giant anthills and all kinds of strange wild animals. It is definitely a destination worth visiting. It takes about two hours to drive from Darwin to Litchfield National Park. The park is open 24 hours a day and is completely free (unless you want to camp overnight in the park, then you will be charged AUD3.3-AUD6.6 depending on the camping facilities), which attracts more than 250,000 people every year. Litchfield National Park covers a large area and has many attractions. It is impossible to visit all the attractions in one day, so you can consider focusing on the five most famous attractions in the park, namely Wangi Falls, Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole, Sandy Creek Falls and Magnetic Termite Mounds. Wangi Falls is the most famous and popular attraction in Litchfield National Park. Many Northern Territory postcards feature photos of Wangi Falls. The waterfall splashes down from the sandstone cliffs and falls into a deep pool below. The pool is open for swimming during the non-rainy season (October to March), which is very pleasant. There is also a complete service station and camping area next to Wangi Falls, providing hot showers and barbecue equipment, so that tourists can rest overnight. Florence Falls is another popular waterfall in Litchfield National Park. The waterfall cascades down from a great height into a pool surrounded by monsoon rainforest. You can also swim in the pool, which is open most of the year. The observation deck on the waterfall offers a panoramic view of the entire canyon, which is very spectacular. Like Wangi Falls, Florence Falls also has a camping area for visitors to stay overnight. Located about 17 kilometers east of the park, the Magnetic Termite Mounds are a vast area covered with hundreds of two-meter-high termite mounds, some of which can even reach an impressive four meters in height. At the nearby information center, visitors can learn about the design and structure of these anthills, allowing them to gain a deep understanding of the uniqueness and creativity of the creatures on this land. Buri Rock Pool is surrounded by tropical rainforest. Under the waterfall, the rock pool has become one of the best places in the park to relax and swim. The rock pool is also open almost all year round and can be camped, making it a summer resort in the area. The last Sandy Creek Falls is a little far from the parking lot. After getting off the car, you have to hike 1.4 kilometers in the tropical rainforest to reach it. However, after passing through the alleys surrounded by melaleuca trees, you can come to the open valley and experience the superb scenery of Tjaynera Falls and Sandy Creek Falls. Of course, the vast Litchfield National Park is certainly not limited to the above attractions. If you have enough time, you can visit Greenant Creek Walk, Tabletop Track, Lost City, Tolmer Falls, Water Creek Walk, Blyth Homestead and Bamboo Creek Tin Mine and other attractions. Opening hours: 24 hours Tickets: Free admission (camping fee AUD3.3-AUD6.6) Address: Litchfield Park Rd, Litchfield Park, NT 0822

Although there are many attractions in Litchfield National Park, the most unique Lichfield is the four-meter-high Cathedral Termite Mounds. It is located in the north of the park, with a wooden path through the viewing area, next to a two-meter-long magnetic termite Mounds. Termite is one of the oldest creatures in the world and one of the most amazing architects in nature. They chewed the earth to build their own nests. I was really amazed at how they thought and communicated. If the nests were built in terms of human proportions, it would be equivalent to human beings building buildings that are more than Mount Everest. And the unique structure of the ant colony keeps the interior constant at a constant temperature, no matter how the outside temperature changes. Therefore, the termite nest has also been imitated by humans and applied to architectural design in order to achieve efficient and energy-saving temperature control. Therefore, the natural world is not only a moving landscape, but also the experience accumulated by animal insects in the long process of evolution.

Lizhi Feite National Park is a beautiful place with towering and lush rainforest plants, a light and clear stream pool, a spectacular waterfall and a tall and mysterious church termite heap. In the open space, hundreds of up to two meters of termite piles are scattered. This is also a unique attraction in northern Australia and the Lichfield National Park. The shape and arrangement of each termite heap can Minimize the sun and ensure that the interior of the ant heap is cool enough. Here you can observe the towering magnetic termite mounds (termites that understand the Earth's magnetic field) facing the north and facing south. The waterfalls of the three sandstone cliffs in the national park, various birds, bats and insects, as well as the slow-growing ancient plant iron tree (an adult iron tree for about 60 years) constitutes a A harmonious natural picture.

Lizhifit National Park is only 90 minutes away from Darwin. The idyllic waterfalls in the park are everywhere. The crystal clear water pool is dotted with beautiful trails and natural wonders, making it a truly magical world in the northern end. . There are several waterfalls in the park that must be visited: Wangi Falls, Florence Falls, Buley Rockhole. Florence Falls is the most beautiful paradise in Li Zhifei Te National Park. The plunge pool under the waterfall is surrounded by a monsoon forest, which is cool and pleasant. From the observation deck, you can see the surrounding scenery and there are several trails to see the area from different perspectives. You can swim under the Florence Falls most of the year. Surrounded by tropical rainforest, the waterfall is under the water, the cool and beautiful swimming pool - this is the typical scenery in the park! Whether you are a tourist or a local, you like to come to Lizhi Feite National Park to avoid the summer heat. The Buri Rock Pond is such a summer resort. There is a picnic area and barbecue facilities, and you can also find an intimate rock pool to relax. [Travel Tips] 1. Opening Hours: Open year 2. Address: Litchfield Park Road
