Bordeaux travel guide and discussion

The honest truth❗️ France is super romantic, but I really don't recommend just showing up in September–October 😭 I've been to France 3 times and have made mistakes in every season! Let's start with the most honest conclusion: France is beautiful all year round, but September–October is an awkward period where it's easiest to feel "let down." Many people are lured by online photos of yellow sycamore leaves in Paris or the gentle autumn days in the South of France, only to feel emo the moment they land! No hype, no bashing—this post is based on the real experiences of an average traveler. If you're planning to head to France in the second half of the year, be sure to read this before you decide! 🇫🇷 🌟 Let's be fair: It's not that France is bad in September–October; it just "depends on the person." If you're a traveler who prefers slow travel, visiting artsy shops, wine tasting, and exploring old towns, these 2 months actually have unique advantages: ✅ Perfectly avoid the crowds and say goodbye to the summer rush July–August is peak season in France; the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Champs-Élysées, and Nice beaches are packed, and waiting in line for 2 hours to play for 10 minutes is the norm. Starting in September, tourist numbers drop off a cliff, and by October, it's fully in the off-season transition. You won't have to squeeze through crowds to visit museums, walk through old town streets, or stroll along the Seine. It's easy to take photos without people in them and enjoy an immersive, relaxed French vibe. ✅ Extremely comfortable temperatures, no more suffering from scorching heat The South of France in midsummer can be unbearably hot, with temperatures over 35℃+. You'll be sweating and your makeup will melt within 5 minutes of going out, making it impossible to properly explore towns or hike to see the scenery. In September–October, the average temperature is 12–24℃. It's not stuffy or dry, and the sunlight is gentle and soft. It's the peak season for French-style outfits—trench coats, knitwear, and suits look amazing in photos—and it's super comfortable for walking and shopping. ✅ Beautiful autumn filter, maximum city gentleness Starting in late September, the sycamore trees along the streets of Paris slowly turn yellow, and the Tuileries Garden, Luxembourg Gardens, and Montmartre are filled with golden-brown fallen leaves. Sunlight filters through the branches, giving all of Paris a built-in vintage movie filter. Every photo looks like a scene from a K-drama or a lazy, stylish French film. It's a gentle texture that spring and summer just can't provide. ✅ Exclusive romance of wine season, a foodie's delight September–October is the grape harvest season in Burgundy and Bordeaux! Estates open up for picking, wine tasting, and tours of the winemaking process. It's the best time of year for a vacation at a French winery—niche and high-end. Experienced travelers who know how to travel always choose this time. ❌ Major warning! Average travelers, definitely don't rush into this! The fatal flaws of September–October With so many pros, why do I still not recommend it for average tourists or first-time visitors to France? Because there are too many hidden pitfalls that can ruin your entire travel experience! 1. Unpredictable weather, sudden rainy season, photos ruined The internet only raves about the beauty of autumn in France; no one tells you that September–October is the rainy season as the seasons change! Especially in Paris, northern Normandy, and Strasbourg, overcast, cloudy, and drizzly days are the norm. There are no clear blue skies or bright sunshine like in spring and summer; the sky is often gray and foggy. Occasional sunny days are fleeting, followed by continuous light rain. The wind is super strong, and it's very humid. The cold, damp feeling is worse than just a drop in temperature. Your carefully planned outfits and makeup won't look good in photos on rainy days, and the romantic Paris you expected turns into a gray, oppressive city. The South of France is relatively better, but it also rains frequently in mid-to-late October, and the wind by the sea is fierce. You can't leisurely stroll along the coastlines of Nice or Cannes. 2. Days get shorter rapidly, effective sightseeing time cut in half This is the biggest hidden pitfall of September–October!! In summer, France has very long days; it's still bright at 10 PM, so you can spend the whole day visiting attractions and getting things done. But starting in September, it gets dark noticeably earlier. By October, dusk starts after 4 PM, and it's completely dark by 5 PM! Your effective sightseeing time per day is only about 6 hours. France has so many attractions: the Louvre, Versailles, the Seine, old towns, beaches, small towns... Your itinerary gets squeezed tight. You don't dare sleep in, and you're rushing around in the afternoon. There's no "relaxed French travel" vibe at all; you're just exhausted from rushing every day! 3. Polarized scenery, peak beauty is all offline Many people think all of France is beautiful in autumn, but they are dead wrong! ✅ France in spring/summer: Lavender and sunflower fields everywhere in the South of France, green fields, crystal-clear lakes, and deep blue seas. The whole country is vibrant and full of life—this is the "beautiful, romantic France" that everyone knows. ❌ France in September–October: The flower fields in Provence have completely finished blooming, and the fields are withered and desolate, with zero "Instagrammable" filter; Normandy, Mont Saint-Michel, and major national parks have withered vegetation, and the scenery is monotonous and dull; Only the sycamore trees in downtown Paris look good. Aside from city streetscapes, the natural scenery is basically all offline! If it's your first time in France and you want to see flower fields, blue seas, and healing countryside, you will be 100% disappointed! 4. Serious price premiums in September, very low cost-performance Many people think September is the off-season and prices are cheap, but the reality is the exact opposite! September is packed with Paris Fashion Week and various international exhibitions. Hotel and flight prices remain high, and homestays in popular areas have serious price premiums. There is absolutely no off-season value. Prices don't drop until mid-to-late October. It's basically a month where you get no beautiful scenery, no long days, and it's expensive—a total "sucker's" month to travel. 5. Many activities shut down, travel variety greatly reduced Entering autumn, many unique outdoor activities in France gradually stop operating: All water activities on the beaches of the South of France close, and open-air markets in small towns are significantly reduced; Some rural hiking trails, riverside leisure facilities, and outdoor exhibitions close periodically; Many niche "Instagrammable" spots and outdoor cafes shorten their business hours. If you want to experience a rich French vacation vibe, autumn is really far inferior to spring and summer! ✅ Ultra-precise France travel "do's and don'ts" list | Beginners can just copy this 💛 [Go for it · Golden best time: June–August] France's beauty is at its peak all year! Sunny days everywhere, very long days, flower fields everywhere, lush green vegetation, and deep blue seawater. All attractions, markets, and outdoor activities are open. Whether it's a city tour of Paris, wandering through small towns in the South of France, a beach vacation, or visiting wineries, the experience is maxed out. For your first trip to France, this is the time to choose! 💛 [First choice for niche artsy types: Late September–Early October] Only suitable for: wine tasting, visiting shops, taking photos, slow-paced Paris strolling, and in-depth artsy travelers. Not suitable for: first-time visitors, those wanting to see panoramic scenery, those rushing through an itinerary, or family vacations. 💔 [Absolute avoid period: Late October–November] Continuous rain, temperatures plummeting, desolate scenery, very short days. The travel experience completely collapses—beginners, stay away! 📍 Must-save for beginners | Classic must-visit attractions in France all year round (suitable for all 4 seasons) ▫️ Downtown Paris ✔️ Eiffel Tower: Beautiful at sunset on sunny days; the vibe is halved on cloudy days ✔️ Louvre: Can be visited indoors all year round, unaffected by weather ✔️ Seine River cruise: Summer evening breeze is legendary; autumn is cold, windy, and a poor experience ✔️ Montmartre: Autumn yellow leaves are super romantic, great for photos ▫️ Small towns in the South of France ✔️ Provence: Only recommended in summer! No flower fields in autumn, not recommended ✔️ Nice's Angel Bay, Cannes seaside: Blue seas and skies in spring/summer; windy and rainy in autumn ▫️ Classic outskirts ✔️ Palace of Versailles: Outdoor gardens are beautiful in spring/summer; vegetation is withered and average in autumn ✔️ Bordeaux/Burgundy wineries: Exclusive peak season in September–October, perfect for wine tasting ✍️ Final heartfelt summary France is truly a romantic country worth visiting for a lifetime. Spring and summer are a healing fairy tale, winter is a gentle fairy tale, only autumn is the most awkward! ✅ If it's your first time going, you want to check off the most beautiful parts of France, and you want to see blue seas, flower fields, and blue skies 👉 Definitely don't choose September–October! Prioritize June–August! ✅ If you've been to France in spring/summer, prefer a slow, artsy life, and are coming specifically for autumn scenery + red wine 👉 September–October is fine to go; it's niche, less crowded, and the vibe is maxed out. Don't blindly follow the crowd; choose the right time to encounter the most romantic France✨

#summerinonecut Bordeaux in summer is straight-up dreamy—the parks and streets are all dressed up for the season, making this city look *extra* gorgeous! 💖 Start your morning at Parc Bordelais (Address: Rue du Bocage, 33000 Bordeaux), which is perfect for a chill stroll. The peaceful vibes here are sooo good for waking up slow and soaking in the green scenery. 🌳✨ Next, wander over to Jardin Public (Address: Place du Champ de Mars, 33000 Bordeaux). This spot is one of the oldest gardens in town, and it’s majorly charming with its winding pathways and pretty ponds. You’ll totally want to snap some pics for your feed! 📸 Finally, as the day winds down, hit up the riverside at Quai des Chartrons (Quai des Chartrons, 33000 Bordeaux) for that epic sunset. The views from here are 🤯—think dreamy golden hour, Insta-perfect photos, and major summer feels! Bordeaux really knows how to turn up the magic when the sun’s out. Don’t sleep on these spots—they’re all must-sees for your summer trip!

#bucketlistdestinations When it comes to France, I personally think Paris is overrated but have you heard of the town called Bordeaux? I still remember the exact moment I stepped off the tram into the heart of Bordeaux and felt my shoulders drop, completely captivated by the golden hour light hitting the 18th-century limestone façades. Walking through the narrow, cobbled alleys of the historic Saint-Pierre district felt like stepping directly into a living postcard, where every turn revealed a hidden courtyard, a cozy wine bar, or a towering medieval gate like the fairytale Porte Cailhau. As I strolled down Rue Saint-James, past sunlit bakery windows and bikes leaning against centuries-old stone, I felt an undeniable blend of laid-back charm and timeless grandeur. I found myself standing in awe before the towering Gothic spires of the Cathédrale Saint-André, watching the late afternoon sun ignite the stone in brilliant shade. It did not take long for me to realize that Bordeaux is not just a destination you visit, but a place you feel deep down in your soul. I spent my afternoons doing what the locals do best, embracing the slow art of living and indulging every single sense. Sat outside at a bustling sidewalk cafe near the Place de la Comédie with a crisp glass of local white wine, a freshly baked, caramelized canelé pastry in hand, simply watching the city move at its effortlessly romantic pace. Crossing the broad plaza to the world-famous Miroir d'Eau along the Garonne riverfront, laughing as I kicked off my shoes to wade through the shallow, misting pool that perfectly reflects the grand Palais de la Bourse like a mirror. As evening fell, the energy shifted into pure magic as street musicians filled the air with acoustic melodies, and the honey-colored buildings glowed softly under the streetlights. Every bite of food I tasted, every glass I raised, and every conversation I struck up with the welcoming locals made me fall deeper in love with this French treasure. If you are waiting for a sign to add Bordeaux to the very top of your travel bucket list, this is it. I went expecting world-class wine, but I left with a newfound appreciation for slowing down, savoring the small moments, and soaking in unmatched architectural beauty. Whether you are wandering through the trendy, vine-draped streets of the Chartrons quarter or climbing the Pey-Berland bell tower for a breathtaking panoramic view over the red-tiled rooftops, Bordeaux promises an experience that lingers long after you pack your bags. Trust me when I say that this city will steal a piece of your heart just like it stole mine, and you will spend the entire journey home planning your return. #VisitBordeaux #BucketListTravel #FranceTravel #ExploreBordeaux #Wanderlust #TravelDiaries #FrenchArtDeVivre #DestinationBordeaux #TravelStories

Bordeaux is a charming city in southwestern France, known for its beautiful architecture, relaxing atmosphere, and world-famous wine culture. During my trip, I enjoyed walking around the city center, exploring the elegant streets, historic buildings, and lovely riverside views. The city has a perfect mix of French charm and a peaceful lifestyle. I also visited a local weekend farmers’ market, where I discovered fresh fruits, local products, delicious food, and the warm atmosphere of everyday French life. It was a wonderful experience to see how locals enjoy their weekends. One of the highlights of the trip was a half-day winery tour. Visiting the vineyards, learning about Bordeaux wine, and tasting local wines made the journey even more memorable. The beautiful countryside scenery was absolutely amazing. I would love to visit this beautiful French city again someday. ✨ #Bordeaux #FranceTravel #WineTour #FrenchLifestyle #TravelMemories

🇫🇷 LANDING AT CDG PARIS SOON? Avoid these rookie mistakes before leaving the terminal! ✈️ So you’ve touched down at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and you’re ready to crush your Paris adventure. 🚀 Before you get lost in that Parisian magic (and maybe a few croissants 🥐), here’s your ultra-handy guide to getting from CDG to central Paris—without the tourist fails. 🚆 1. RER B — BEST BUDGET OPTION Route: CDG → Gare du Nord → Châtelet–Les Halles → Saint-Michel–Notre-Dame ⏱️ Time: About 25–40 min (depends on type of train) 💶 Price: Around €13 ⭐ Why you’ll love it: Super fast, frequent, and super easy for getting right into Paris city center. ⚡ Hack! Check the train screens—Not all RER B trains stop at the same stations! Look for direct services into the city. Choosing the right train can save you 10–15 minutes versus the ones that stop more often in the suburbs. 👀 Pro Tip: Watch your bags—keep them in front of you, especially during busy hours or when the train gets packed at stations like Gare du Nord. Don’t flash your phone or valuables near the doors—Paris has vibes, but it also has pickpockets! 📱 Beat the Queues: Buy your ticket with the Île-de-France Mobilités app or Bonjour RATP app. Get your RER ticket right on your phone/wallet (yep, it works with most devices), and breeze past those mega-long lines at the airport machines. 🚌 2. ROISSYBUS Route: CDG → Opéra (central Paris) ⏱️ Time: ~45–75 min (depends on traffic!) 💶 Cost: About €13–16 👍 When to use it: Perfect if your hotel’s near Opéra—just hop off and you’re there. 🚌 3. REGULAR PUBLIC BUS If you’re staying in certain Paris suburbs or local ‘hoods, a regular city bus can get you closer. 💶 Even cheaper than RER B or RoissyBus! ⏱️ Usually slower, but it could be handy for outer neighborhoods. 🚆 4. CDGVAL — AIRPORT SHUTTLE (Totally FREE!) Use CDGVAL to move between different CDG terminals and to reach the airport’s main transport hubs. ⚠️ Does NOT go into central Paris—it’s for getting around the airport only! 🚄 5. TGV — LEAVE CDG FOR ANOTHER CITY Trains depart from “Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 TGV” station (Level 2, Terminal 2). Hit up cities like Lyon, Lille, Strasbourg, Marseille, or Bordeaux straight from the airport—no trip into Paris required! 🚕 TRAVELING WITH FAMILY OR LOTS OF LUGGAGE? Go official or go home! Take an official Paris airport taxi: ➡️ To the Right Bank: About €56 (flat rate) ➡️ To the Left Bank: About €65 (flat rate) Where? Head outside for the official taxi rank. Ignore any random offers in the terminal—they’re not worth the risk. 🏆 TL;DR: Quick Choices 💰 Cheapest & fast: RER B ⚡ Fast (to city center): RER B 🚌 Hotel/Opéra zone: RoissyBus 👨👩👧👦 Family & baggage mountain: Official Taxi 🚄 Leaving Paris for another French city: TGV 📝 Save this cheat sheet before your Paris touchdown! Planning more Paris moves? Check trip.com for deals on hotels, attractions, and the smoothest trip ever. Paris CDG airport info: Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) 95700 Roissy-en-France, France Major rail & bus connections on Level 2, Terminal 2 Official Taxis: Follow signage to Taxi zone outside Arrivals Bon voyage! ✨ #ParisAirport #ParisTransport #FranceTravel #ParisTips #EuropeTravel

Because I almost flew to Bordeaux by mistake, my first impression of Porto was always confused. I had no itinerary for Europe and just went wherever, but every place brought unexpected rewards. If Madrid is a square and an art palace under the sun, then Porto is a poet quietly reflecting by the Douro River. Then I saw a phrase that touched my heart — those who chase sunsets will always arrive in Porto. Porto Sunset Core Viewing Platforms [Dom Luís I Bridge] I recommend walking on the upper-level pedestrian walkway to overlook the Douro River and the old towns on both sides. It is Porto’s iconic double-deck iron bridge and an excellent spot to watch the riverside sunset, forming a World Heritage landscape together with the scenery on both banks of the Douro River. [Monastery of Serra do Pilar] A classic free viewing spot with a wide view where you can see the bridge, the river bay, and the entire port. [Clerigos Tower] Climbing the tower offers a high vantage point over the city center, but it requires a ticket and the space is narrow, suitable as part of city exploration. Tasting Port wine is also a must-do in Porto. Porto means “port,” and enjoying a glass of aged Port wine here is a perfect match. Many wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia offer tasting experiences. In addition, the Lello Bookstore, the Stock Exchange Palace, Porto Cathedral, and Liberty Square are all places worth stopping by.

When visiting Bordeaux, this is the must-try gourmet spot! I had the pleasure of dining at the renowned steakhouse "Restaurant L'Entrecôte". A beloved establishment The exterior is marked by its eye-catching yellow awning! The staff's matching yellow uniforms add a charming touch✨ 📍 Classic interior with adorable tartan patterns Step inside to find a retro and stylish space featuring Scottish-style tartan wallpaper, elegant glass lamps, and a grand marble-style counter. The stone walls are adorned with mosaic art of cows and steak paintings, making the wait enjoyable 🐮 📍 Devilishly delicious! Steak with magical sauce The much-anticipated main dish has arrived! Served on a vibrant yellow tablecloth, the tender meat is generously topped with a secret herb butter sauce, accompanied by a mountain of French fries overflowing from the plate 🍟✨ The steak is presented on a silver tray warmed by candles, ensuring it stays hot until the last bite—a thoughtful detail that truly impressed me. Come to Bordeaux and be a slightly tipsy noble for a day 🍷 This treasure city in southwestern France not only hides the world's top wines but also perfectly embodies what it means to have the "ultimate relaxation vibe"‼️ ✅【Classic One-Day Tour Route】 🔸Morning 📍Bordeaux Wine Museum This modern building, shaped like a decanter, is a work of art itself. Inside, interactive exhibits vividly tell the history and winemaking process of wine. The best part is that the ticket includes a free glass of wine tasting, so you can enjoy a drink while taking in the panoramic view of Bordeaux from the rooftop terrace, making for a perfect experience. 📍Water Mirror A city landmark of Bordeaux, where you can see the reflection of the Place de la Bourse opposite. There is also a timed mist feature, creating a dreamy atmosphere. 📍Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux A neoclassical style building with a magnificent exterior and exquisite interior decoration, a masterpiece of 18th-century architectural art. 📍Place des Quinconces One of the largest squares in Europe, with a spectacular central monument and surrounding buildings, it is the heart of Bordeaux. 🔸Afternoon 📍Bordeaux Cathedral The main cathedral of Bordeaux, a representative of Gothic architecture. Take time to climb the Pey-Berland Tower to overlook the entire city’s red-tiled rooftops with an excellent view. 📍Porte Cailhau A city gate preserved from the Middle Ages, one of Bordeaux’s symbols, with a very historic appearance. 📍Rue Sainte-Catherine The longest pedestrian street in Europe, gathering various fashion brands, pharmacies, and specialty snacks, a great place to experience Bordeaux’s local life. 📍Place de la Bourse During the day, the neoclassical architecture reflects beautifully, and after 8 PM, the water mist show begins! Locals love to bring wine and sit here on summer nights. It’s recommended to buy a coffee and a crepe nearby while waiting for the sunset~ 🌮【Food Recommendations】 ▪️Canelés Baillardran Bordeaux 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Another famous chain, focusing on high-end products. The price is five times that of the previous shop, but the taste is not five times better. Although it is indeed more delicately made, with more restrained sugar and moist inside with visible vanilla seeds! Personally, I prefer the rich, “rough” and dynamic La Toque Cuivrée. ▪️L'Embarcadère 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Seafood platters come in six options. I chose the most expensive lobster platter; the shrimp and oysters were very fresh and sweet, but the shellfish was too fishy. The mussels paired with a special egg yolk sauce were surprisingly good. The red wine was okay. 🍷【Insider Tips】 1️⃣Make sure to time your visit to the top of Porte Cailhau (open after 3:15 PM every Saturday). The spiral staircase is so narrow it’s almost unbelievable, but the view is unbeatable. 2️⃣Free organ concerts at the cathedral start at 2:30 PM on the first Sunday of every month. 3️⃣Remember to book theater tours in advance on the official website; French tours are 5 euros cheaper than English ones. 4️⃣The Darwin Eco District by the river has a vintage market on Friday nights, with local craft beer and freshly shucked oysters—superb. Who says romance must be in Paris? Wandering the cobblestone streets of Bordeaux, you might turn a corner and meet a stranger smiling at you with a glass of wine in hand. This lazy, healing vibe is the true essence of French life 💐

#attractive Located along the Garonne River, Jardin Botanique de Bordeaux is a lush green sanctuary dedicated to plant diversity and ecological discovery. 🌿✨ With themed gardens, greenhouses, and educational trails, visitors can explore Mediterranean, alpine, and tropical species in one serene space. 🌺 Perfect for nature lovers, students, and families, this botanical garden blends science, beauty, and relaxation in the heart of Bordeaux. 🏞️ #JardinBotaniqueDeBordeaux #Bordeaux #BotanicalGarden #GardenLovers #ExploreFrance #HiddenGem #TravelFrance #UrbanOasis #NatureInTheCity #FloralBeauty

“If Paris is love, Bordeaux is a passion as deep as fine red wine.” ⸻ 🏛️ Old but not old Bordeaux is a city full of ancient French architecture mixed with modernity. Walking in the old city (UNESCO World Heritage Site) feels like going back in time. The charming cream-colored stone buildings line the narrow cobblestone streets lined with bookstores, cafes and small wine bars. ⸻ 🍷 World-class wine city Of course, when visiting Bordeaux, you must talk about wine. 🍇 · There are many vineyards around the city, such as Médoc, Saint-Émilion, Graves. · We went to the Cité du Vin, an amazing wine museum that tells all about wine from around the world (both real tasting and interactive viewing). The highlight was the rooftop wine tasting with a great view of the Garonne River! ⸻ 🌉 Must-visit check-in points · Place de la Bourse & Miroir d’eau: A magnificent reflecting plaza that is great for taking pictures at any time, especially at night when the lights reflect on the water, making it a very romantic sight. · Pont de Pierre: An old stone bridge spanning the river with a beautiful city view. · Rue Sainte-Catherine: The longest shopping street in Europe! A leisurely walk filled with shops, fashion brands, and French pastries. ⸻ 🍽️ Local French food We tried · Entrecôte à la Bordelaise (steak with red wine sauce) · Canéles, a small local pastry with a crispy outside and soft inside, sweet and fragrant. · And Bordeaux Supérieur red wine that is very strong but smooth. Most restaurants have a good atmosphere, where you can sit and relax for a long time with candlelight and soft music. 🎶 ⸻ 🚶 A city suitable for walking Bordeaux is a city that is fun to walk, easy to walk, and you will fall in love with it. Whether it's a riverside park, a bicycle path Or the ancient area of Saint-Pierre — every corner seems to have a story ⸻ 💬 Summary of impressions “Bordeaux is not a big, magnificent city, but a city that is ‘well-rounded’ like a glass of good wine — the more you drink, the more you love it, the deeper you are, the more you are lost.”

Spend a perfect day in Bordeaux! Start by getting your hands on a perfect Canelè. Bordeaux is the capital of Canelès, a delicious pastry in the shape of a little crown filled with vanilla and rum. Then, stroll along the beautiful french streets. Wonder into lovely boutique shops and practice your french skills with the locals. After a beautiful and romantic day, I’d recommend sitting in the main square and enjoying red Bordeaux wine with some local cheese. #localguides #france #francetrip #bordeaux #cheese #wine

Bordeaux is a rainy city, and we arrived at noon to catch the beautiful weather. My favorite Rue Sainte-Catherine is the most prosperous commercial avenue in Bordeaux. It is easy to shop and buy. I just restocked my drug store and couldn't get out of the vintage store. Trams extend in all directions, and the scattered medieval buildings are very interesting. Compared to Paris, which is big and beautiful, Bordeaux is more compact and cute, and its architectural style is similar, much like mini Paris. The beauty of Bordeaux needs to be savored slowly, just like the wine of Bordeaux makes people drunk slowly. 🏞️Main attractions: 1️⃣Miroir d'eau+Place de la Bourse Bordeaux city landmarks. You can see the reflection of the Exchange in the Square from the Water Mirror Pool. Sisters who like to take pictures can come here to take a photo with the buildings of the Exchange. Trust me! Big breakout movie! 2️⃣Porte Cailhau | This building is probably popular with Jay Chou. It is recommended to take pictures of Porte Cailhau at night, it will be more beautiful ~ it is across the road Get Jay's same style stone pier; 3️⃣Opera National de Bordeaux | The Grand Theater of Bordeaux is beautiful both inside and outside. If you have time, you can visit it; 4️⃣Cathedrale Saint | One of the highlights of European travel is seeing churches. The cathedral is well maintained and has exquisite stone reliefs on the outer walls. It still looks spectacular now; 5️⃣Pont de Pierre | The Pont de Pierre, commissioned by Napoleon, has a total of 17 bridge arches, spanning the Garonne River, and is as majestic as a rainbow; 6️⃣Porte de Bourgogne | The Bordeaux version of the Arc de Triomphe. It turns out that many famous cities in Europe have Arc de Triomphe, each with its own attractions. 7️⃣Musée du Vin et du Négoce de Bordeaux | — There is a red wine museum that stores wines from twenty years ago or even more. The explanations are very interesting. It is closer to the city center. If you like red wine, come here~ 8️⃣La Cite du Vin | Red wine city, but personally think the price is on the high side. If you have plenty of time, you can come here for more walks.

I've been to almost all the major cities in France, but this is my personal favorite. Bordeaux is the city of wine. The streets are intricate and winding, so it's fun just to wander around, and the cityscape is beautiful. I also like the fact that it doesn't have the typical tourist atmosphere like Paris. I also went on an optional tour to visit chateaux with tastings. There is also a wine museum with exhibits about wine, although it is a little far from the center. #EuropeTravel #France #Bordeaux

Intimate destination with colorful decor offering hot drinks, plus pastries & brunch. Since we were in Bordeaux, we decided to visit this beautiful cafe . So far, we have only been there once, but the atmosphere left a great impression on us. The Coffee was great and that fruit tartelette was good . As someone whose passion is pastry and baking, this one was the best we have ever had and tasted. And for very good price, especially compared to the competition around. #familytrip #mytravelhacks #freehotelstay #historicallandmarks #localguides #familytrip #paris #falltrip #couplestrip #2023 #holidayvacation #passionpassport #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #tripblazers #awesomepic #cafe #awesomepic #celebratewithtrip #couplestrip #2023travelwish #passionpassport
