This seasonal American version of the Pink Lake is truly incredible 😆 The colors here are so magical! Actually, I visited here a long time ago and took some great photos. Back then, you could walk on the lake because there was no water 🤣 There weren’t many people either; most visitors were birdwatching enthusiasts. Having this much water for two consecutive years is quite rare. I’m not sure if the water level rose this year or if it’s because of the evening high tide 🤣 (But this clearly isn’t the sea 🤦🏻‍♀️) There’s a lot more water here now. When the wind blows, it creates waves that lap against the sandy shore, giving off a bit of a beach vibe 🏖️? Has this pink salt lake turned into a pink ocean?? 🤔 I went in the evening, so the color was a bit dark—I wonder what it looks like in the morning? ⚠️ The colors in these photos were captured on site, visible to the naked eye, with no filters added and no strange smells. There are very few people on weekdays, but it does get crowded on weekends. I recommend going early in the morning since the natural colors are greatly affected by sunlight 👌 Also, it’s been very windy there lately, so dress warmly if you go. I’ve been there in the morning, at noon, and in the evening—the pink color changes noticeably, getting deeper the hotter it is. It is also a unique experience to take a ferry and enjoy a pleasant journey on the sunny Bay. You can enjoy the magnificent view of San Francisco Bay on the deck, including the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island and famous landmarks in San Francisco. A group of small seagulls soaring above your heads, and their calls echoing on the calm water. You can also see the sailboat sliding on the sea, leaving white foam marks behind……

The views are absolutely breathtaking! I chose this hotel for a 4th of July staycation to enjoy the fireworks. My room provided an incredible full view of the city, showcasing The Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, Sutro Tower, and even some impressive mansion-style structures I'd never seen before. While there was a small issue with the room, the front desk quickly addressed it—offering a discount for another night, sending Ronald D. to deliver a new refrigerator, and providing a voucher for their café. When I arrived, I was surprised by a busy convention taking place, with hundreds of people and about 30 waiting in line. Despite the chaos, Che at the check-in desk stood out with her gorgeous smile and genuinely kind, thoughtful demeanor.

This Korean restaurant is incredibly popular on social media 🔥 The photos look amazing, and I've seen so many recommendations for it, so I added it to my checklist early on my trip to the Bay Area 😆 I've been looking forward to it for ages! After looking at the menu, I feel that Ondam offers a wider selection and more creative dishes compared to traditional Korean restaurants. Many of the dishes are unlike anything I've seen in other Korean restaurants. Their menu design is truly unique 👍 We ordered three dishes this time: 🍄 Mushroom Shrimp Wrapped in Mushroom Paste The mushroom slices wrapped around shrimp paste create a very unique presentation. At first glance, I thought it was abalone 🤣 But the combination of the bouncy shrimp and the fresh aroma of the mushroom is simply wonderful – one bite is incredibly flavorful! I really liked this dish 👌 🥩 Beef Tartare It was topped with a pasteurized egg. After mixing it, I ate it with the meat, and the texture was smooth. Although the beef didn't have a gamey taste, it seemed like it wasn't completely thawed; I could taste ice crystals 😂 A bit disappointing. Korean food in LA is definitely better in this dish. 🐙 Octopus Sotbap A must-order! This dish really surprised me 👍 Sotbap (솥밥) is actually traditional Korean stone pot rice, cooked fresh in a small pot. The rice is very fragrant, and there's a crispy crust at the bottom. Unlike rice cooker rice, it brings out the layers of rice and the wok's smokiness. Ondam's version is a bit like octopus claypot rice, with a slightly sweet taste. Hotel Gaza Fisherman's Wharf is a good hotel with a super central location, perfectly situated near all the attractions around the San Francisco Bay that are easily reachable on foot. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, with Enat standing out in particular.

Adult plastic Clipper cards carry a $3 acquisition fee, while Clipper’s customer agreement says there is no fee to convert a plastic card to a mobile card. Considering the majority of America was boiling hot and ridiculously humid, San Francisco was a lot cooler and even chilly when the wind picked up (we did not dress appropriately for the weather hahaha!). Shame we couldn’t see the Golden Gate Bridge very well, but I intend to visit again in future. I highly recommend the Disney family museum as there’s so much to see and learn about Walt and the company he built - I’d be interested to know what he might think of what the company/corporation has become, would he be disappointed or disgusted or happy with its current direction and financial situation (which is very poor from what I know, too many loans and a massive debt of billions of $!). When you enter the clock tower, walk up to the 3rd floor and you will find a museum inside that has a variety of exhibitions. Importantly, there is also a free tour to take you up to see the clock tower and the city view from above. 💥 But you have to book in advance. Through the clock tower's website directly 💥 🚶♂️When you go up, we will see the church next to the clock tower, which is a beautiful architecture. And when you see each other up above, you will see 4 large bells that have been installed for a long time.
