Stone Mountain is made of a single rock. You can take the ropeway to the top, but since we were there, we decided to take an hour-long hike. I was with my 3-year-old, and we were able to walk to the top in about an hour. The path itself is well-maintained, so you can climb in regular shoes. It's not a particularly difficult mountain. The scenery changes the higher we went, and it was so much fun to watch that change. We took the ropeway down. The ropeway gets you to the bottom in no time. You can get a panoramic view of Atlanta, so I highly recommend it.

A little cute~ The fluorescent version after sunset is even more exciting 👀 A must-see for dinosaur fans‼️ 💚 Summit Skyride 👉 The cable car is only open until 4 pm during the Christmas season. If you don't want to climb the mountain, you can come and take the cable car to the top of the mountain.
