Busan · Haeundae|Review of La Vitta Atlan Hotel Stay
🚉 Transportation
✦ Subway:
The hotel is about 400 meters from Haeundae Station, approximately a 5-minute walk, making it very convenient to travel to and from the city center and the airport bus station by subway.
✦ Driving / Parking:
The hotel offers a paid private parking lot, with parking fees at approximately KRW 10,000 per day (first-come, first-served basis). The height limit is about 2 meters.
✦ From the airport:
If coming from Gimhae International Airport, take a bus or taxi to the "Haeundae Beach Entrance" stop, then walk about 5–10 minutes to reach the hotel (local transportation is convenient).
⭐ Pros
🩵 Excellent Location
The hotel is located in the bustling area of Haeundae, surrounded by restaurants, CU/GS25 convenience stores, and night markets, so you don’t have to worry about finding food late at night. Step outside, and you’ll find plenty of dining options and lively street scenes.
✔️ Only a 3-minute walk to Haeundae Beach, making morning or evening strolls super convenient.
✔️ Close to the subway station, just a few minutes’ walk to connect to Busan’s subway system, perfect for exploring the city.
🩵 Currency Exchange Machine on the 3rd Floor
✔️ There’s a money exchange machine (moneybox) next to the front desk, so you don’t need to go to a bank to exchange or withdraw Korean won.
🩵 Housekeeping & Cleanliness
✔️ Daily cleaning and towel replacement services are provided, and the overall cleanliness is acceptable.
✔️ Free luggage storage allows you to leave your bags after check-out and continue your itinerary (storage available until the afternoon of the same day).
❌ Cons (Honest Feedback)
✖️ Room Condition Below Expectations
Although it was a more expensive premium sea view room, the actual sea view was partially blocked by a building in front, and the room was very small (opening two 23" suitcases left almost no walking space). Moreover, the room looked quite different from the photos on the website 🥺. The value for money is low, and staying in an Airbnb might offer a better sense of space 😭. Very disappointing.
✖️ Minimal Room Amenities
The room only provided a kettle and two cups. When I asked the front desk for a knife, fork, and plate to cut a cake, they didn’t have any and told me to buy them myself downstairs.
✖️ The 2nd floor houses T1 Base, a 24-hour internet café, which attracts some nighttime crowds. Travelers who value quietness should take this into consideration.
⚠️ Pre-Stay Reminders
🪥 The hotel does not provide toothpaste and toothbrushes (many Korean hotels no longer offer these for environmental reasons), but they are available for purchase at the front desk or nearby convenience stores.
📍 The front desk is on the 3rd floor, not the ground floor (you need to take the elevator directly to the 3rd floor to reach the lobby).
📝 Summary
📍 Overall Rating: Not Highly Recommended
The location and transportation of this hotel are undeniably convenient, with strong nearby amenities and easy access to the beach and night markets, making it suitable for short-term travelers. However:
✖️ Room condition and space are lacking
✖️ View is obstructed, with poor visibility
✖️ Basic amenities and average service
✖️ Value for money is lower compared to other options in the same price range
💡 In one sentence: If you’re just looking for a convenient location, it’s okay, but you might find better quality options for the same price.
