To be honest: it depends. Compared to other European countries we had many problems in Spain whenever we wanted to do activities with Felix. Many hotels & restaurants don‘t allow dogs and most of the beaches prohibit dogs all year round (in other countries dogs can go to the beach during the winter months) 😞 ☀️ When to go? In summer it gets really hot and crowded so we recommend to go in Spring or autumn. Truly surprised by some sort of “𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘳𝘶𝘫𝘰” in 𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗮 🔴 Out of a sudden, I saw that there was one room available at 𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗮 for one night. This is something incredible, because, especially in summertime (peak season) this place is fully booked months in advance; so we were really lucky. Inmediately, I didn't hesitate and pressed 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗞! And there we go, we got a spot to stay and experience this magical place on our own. 𝗟𝗮 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗮 🔴 is a private residential building by the 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮 🌊 in the town of 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗲, near 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲, 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻 🇪🇸 Built in 1973 by Spanish architect 𝙍𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙤 𝘽𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙡, it has become a must-visit destination for social media influencers, photographers, architecture aficionados among others. It has become so famous, that at one point, the neighbours decided to close it off to outsiders and also installed drone inhibitors, so right now it is a "no drone-flying zone". In reality, the memorial valley monument finally succeeded in punching the Spanish red wall muralla roja! Reality is more beautiful than photos! From the evening, I arrived at the sun and went down the mountain. It took me more than an hour to leave. The whole house is spliced with blue orange powder and purple blocks. The high and low staggered design is used to distinguish different units. The top of the building can see the endless Mediterranean Sea, and the sea water is crystal clear. Different light will have different beauty. Traveling in Spain must be punched! highly recommended! !

After wrapping up our time in Valencia, we drove straight to Peñón de Ifach — a spot well-known among campers and car-campers 👍. You can park overnight there, with epic views of the massive rock formation and the Mediterranean by day, and a sky full of stars at night. It’s dreamy and gives you that ultimate sense of freedom — highly recommended for road trip travelers!

#summervacay Playa Cantal Roig is one of those beaches that’s just easy. Super chill, super clean, and right next to the port in Calpe, so you’ve got boats bobbing on one side and the big ol’ Peñón de Ifach doing its dramatic thing in the background. The sand? Soft and golden. The water? Crystal clear and calm, like, perfect for floating and pretending you’re in a spa commercial. It’s not a party beach, and that’s the best part. Locals, families, couples… everyone’s just out here soaking up the sun and enjoying the mellow vibe. There’s a nice little boardwalk too, with a bunch of seafood spots, fresh catch, cold drinks, zero stress. Plus, if you feel like stretching your legs, you can wander over to the Ifach Natural Park trail nearby. Beach nap, then mini hike? Yes please. Cantal Roig isn’t flashy, but it’s got that relaxed, “I could stay here all day” energy. 10/10 for beachy bliss.
