It’s a two-hour journey from London Euston, while Manchester and Liverpool are less than one hour away. Chester is a small but mighty city that’s best explored by foot.Chester has an extensive public bus network. Connections can take you to Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, Liverpool and into Wales.The maximum only cost 2 pounds. If you only have a day,you can visit: 1. Chester Cathedral 2. Chester City Walls 3. Chester Rows 4. River Dee 5. Eastgate and Eastgate Clock 6. St John the Baptist's Church All the places mentioned are close to each other, please try the beer made in Chester as well, it is located nearby the Eastgate clock.

Nausicaá, Europe's largest aquarium, which is located in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France, is a bit run down in my opinion after today’s visit. Quite busy on the day, most with family with young kids. Food and drink are over priced but queues moving fast. Plenty friendly staff who speak good English on the floor. As usual, got conned in the gift shop, reminds me of the one in Chester Zoo if you know what I mean.

Chester Zoo is an iconic destination for any family looking for something fun to do. Our trip was spectacular. We saw a range of animals, heard talks at feeding times and explored the zoo for hours. Chester Zoo is part of our annual calendar and we can't wait for our next visit.

One of my favourite places to visit. I love the fact that you can explore the biodiversity from different parts of the world. The new Africa section is nice with large and varied habitats for the different animals which all look very well cared for. The lemur walkthrough is also really cool where you can get close to the lemurs and see them interact and play with each other.

We visited chester zoo. It was very huge, i suggest considering whole day if you want to all of its corners.

An amazing day at Chester zoo filled with some incredible animals and wonderful food options too! You can spend all day there easily, it was absolutely fantastic! Love love love love love love love this place and the staff are all great too, you can tell they really care for the animals, there’s also a fun fairground and children’s play areas for the little ones too!
