Amalfi Dream Week✨
Most travelers rush between Amalfi, Ravello, Capri, and Positano, changing hotels every couple of days.
But there’s a much smarter way to experience the Amalfi Coast.
📍 Rent an apartment in Salerno for a week and discover a new destination every day while returning each evening to your favorite beach, waterfront promenade, and sunset aperitivo.
Here’s the perfect 7-day itinerary.
Day 1️⃣
🏖️ Salerno
Arrival, check-in, and your first swim in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Take a stroll along the beautiful Lungomare Trieste promenade, relax on the beach, and enjoy your first Italian aperitivo by the water.
In the evening, head to one of Salerno’s beach clubs for music, cocktails, and a true Dolce Vita atmosphere.
Day 2️⃣
🎨 Vietri sul Mare
Just a few minutes away by local metro, Vietri sul Mare is famous for its colorful ceramics.
Wander through charming streets, admire brightly painted domes, and browse shops filled with lemon-themed pottery.
The biggest danger of the day? Leaving with an extra suitcase full of ceramics.
Day 3️⃣
⛴️ Amalfi & Ravello
Take a morning ferry to Amalfi.
Explore the historic maritime town, visit the stunning Cathedral of Saint Andrew, and treat yourself to a slice of the famous Delizia al Limone.
In the afternoon, hop on a SitaSud bus and climb up to Ravello.
Visit Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, stroll through magnificent gardens, and enjoy some of the most breathtaking views on the Amalfi Coast.
Day 4️⃣
🏛️ Historic Salerno
A slower-paced day.
Explore the medieval old town, visit the Cathedral of Saint Matthew, wander through the beautiful Minerva Gardens, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Salerno’s historic center.
Finish the day with dinner at a traditional family-run trattoria.
Day 5️⃣
🚤 Capri
The highlight of the week.
Take an early ferry from Salerno and spend the entire day on Capri.
Visit the Gardens of Augustus, admire the iconic Faraglioni rocks, explore Anacapri, and soak up the glamorous atmosphere that has attracted artists, writers, and celebrities for more than a century.
Return to Salerno in the evening.
Day 6️⃣
🏖️ A Day at the Beach
This is what Italian vacations are all about.
No buses. No ferries. No schedules.
Just the sea, sunshine, a good book, gelato, a long lunch, and an afternoon under a beach umbrella.
Day 7️⃣
🍋 A Slow Campania Day
Start with a cappuccino and a freshly baked cornetto by the sea.
Visit the local market for cheeses, seasonal fruit, and fragrant lemons.
Take one last swim.
Enjoy one final aperitivo.
Watch the sun set over the bay and promise yourself you’ll come back someday.
✨ The beauty of Salerno is that you can enjoy comfortable beaches, excellent restaurants, and authentic Italian life while using it as the perfect base to explore Amalfi, Ravello, Capri, and Vietri sul Mare—all without constantly changing hotels or carrying heavy luggage.
