Mount Gede Pangrango National Park is centered between two volcanoes, Mount Gede and Mount Pangrango (2.958 m and 3.019 m respectively) in West Java, Indonesia. Most people come here for hiking to the peaks. There are 3 official hiking trails which each one has its own wonders and difficulties. The most traversed hiking trail is the Cibodas trail. (The other trail is; Gunung Putri and Selabintana trail). Upon entering, the aesthetics were so impressive with little succulents displayed around the cafe and some pretty dried flowers. We had a soufflé and a vegan breakfast plate. The price, 2 million Rupiah (high season school holiday price), included everything in my photo except the Gojek ride and boat ride on the lake 🤗 The Situ Gunung Ancient Valley is a natural tourist area in Mount Gede Pangrango National Park, famous for its 535-meter-long Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge, said to be one of the longest in Southeast Asia. In addition to the suspension bridge, the valley also features twin waterfalls (Curug Kembar) and various other attractions such as the zipline and Sultan Basket. The Main Attraction of the Ancient Valley Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge: A 535-meter-long suspension bridge that connects visitors from the main gate to the Ancient Valley. Curug Kembar: The twin waterfalls, previously difficult to reach, are now more accessible via the suspension bridge. Ancient Landscape: This area is called an ancient valley because it is surrounded by trees, giving it a very beautiful and ancient natural feel, as if it were in a prehistoric world.
