Coron is another gem of the Philippines, with its lakes, lagoons, and beaches. 📍How to get there and where to stay Tourists mostly stay on Busuanga Island, in the town of Coron and its surrounding area. The island has an airport, hotels, and all the necessary infrastructure. This means it's a great starting point for boats and excursions to Coron and other picturesque islands. Busuanga Island has almost no swimmable beaches, but the beaches on the uninhabited islands you'll visit are simply heavenly, with unforgettable water colors and soft white sand. I stayed at the Coron Westown Resort. It's located a bit outside the city center, but only a 20-minute drive away. The hotel is nice and spacious, with three outdoor pools and a beautiful interior, although a bit dated. It's perfect for relaxing between excursions. I took two boat excursions at the hotel, and on the third day I just chilled by the pool and got a massage. ⏱️The excursions start early in the morning and end around 5:00 PM. In the morning, you'll be picked up from the hotel by a transfer to the pier, where there's a waiting area. 💸Tour prices range from 1800-1900 pesos (2400-2550 rubles). As is almost always the case, lunch is included in the price. It's served on the boat or beach. Typically, it includes rice, vegetables, chicken, fish, shrimp, and fruit. Water is also provided free of charge everywhere, and beer and soft drinks can be purchased on the boat or on the beaches. These were the best beaches and the color of the water. The best part was when the guides treated us to desserts on the way back. The first time, it was rice flour cakes, absolutely delicious. As a relay station for island hopping, we enjoyed a picnic on Banol Beach. Towering cliffs surround the island, and scattered between the mountains, sea, and sky are a few old stilted fishermen’s huts, like imprints left by time. On the beach, two pavilions made of wooden stakes and dry grass stand, where everyone sat around tasting the freshly prepared seafood lunch by the boatmen. The fairy-tale coastal scenery before our eyes made us feel as if we had stumbled into paradise. Walking barefoot on Banol Beach, the white sand is as fine as jade, feeling like stepping on soft silk underfoot. The fresh sea breeze brushes past, carrying the delicate fragrance of plumeria flowers to the nose. The grandeur of the cliffs, the clarity of the sea, and the softness of the beach blend here, as if time has slowed down. This trip to Coron Island has no noisy commercialization, only the pure beauty gifted by nature, capturing the island’s romance and tranquility into an eternal memory.

Although the location is slightly away from Coron Town, there are plenty of tuk-tuks nearby, making transportation convenient. This allowed me to enjoy a quiet and relaxed accommodation environment.
