Just went on an epic road trip from Grantham to Crewe through the stunning Peak District – rolling hills, moody clouds, secret ponds, and endless photo ops with friends 🌧️🌳. The highlight? Our countryside detour led us straight to the legendary Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa – a seriously dreamy spot if you love historic vibes and a touch of luxury. Must-Visit: Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa - Cheshire Address: Weston Rd, Haslington Set in sprawling, lush grounds (perfect for those group selfies by the ponds and brick houses!), this place is all about grand, Western-style architecture and epic nature views. Even on a cloudy, rainy day, the atmosphere was serene. Pro tip: Make time for a selfie stroll – the grounds are Insta-gold, especially around the lakes and grassy wetlands. Instantly transported to a South African safari, no camera, no family with me. This time, I want to truly experience it with my eyes. It's quite different from Kenya and Tanzania. All the animals here are so close. Making eye contact can send chills down your spine. This time I stayed at Singita Lebombo, a place I've wanted to visit for a long time. I didn't choose to stay at Sweni because it's too colorful there. I prefer this kind of simple and naturally integrated design. Unfortunately, my visa is about to expire, so I could only stay for a short three days. I also had to save at least one day to see Camps Bay. Left in a hurry, hope to come back soon. Btw, the safari in Kruger made me feel unusually relaxed, unlike before when I always ended up dirty and dusty. My nose was full of mud balls, but the air here is very clean. After a day, the most I got was a bit of mud on my face. The roads are not bumpy, overall quite smooth. Flew in and out from Johannesburg, no hassle and no time wasted. It's just that South Africa is not very safe, otherwise it would be perfect for a safari with young kids.

Manchester Piccadilly to London Euston via Crewe is always an easy travel! So easy & basic, unless you want a direct train I’d definitely consider saving yourself some pennies and going via Crewe, where you can stop for a coffee whilst waiting for the second train to your location🤭 I do it every time I’m travelling to Manchester.
