Dalaman travel guide and discussion

Hey family! Fethiye is the kind of place where you can spend the morning swimming in turquoise water, explore ancient Lycian ruins in the afternoon and finish the day eating fresh fish beside the marina. Let's discover it! 🫶🏼 Located on Türkiye’s southwestern coast, it is also an excellent base for exploring Ölüdeniz, Butterfly Valley, Kayaköy and the surrounding islands. What I liked most is the variety: Fethiye works equally well for a relaxing beach holiday, hiking trip or active itinerary filled with boat excursions and paragliding. My main recommendation is not to treat Fethiye simply as the gateway to Ölüdeniz. The town and surrounding region deserve several days. ℹ️ Practical Visit Information 📍 Location: Muğla Province, southwestern Türkiye ✈️ Nearest airport: Dalaman Airport (DLM) 🗓️ Recommended stay: 4–5 days ☀️ Best months: May, June, September and October 🏖️ Don’t miss: Ölüdeniz, Butterfly Valley, Kayaköy, Fethiye Old Town and a boat excursion ⛵ Best experience: A full-day trip through the surrounding bays and islands 🪂 For adventure: Paragliding from Babadağ above Ölüdeniz 🚌 Getting around: Dolmuş minibuses are useful for Ölüdeniz, Kayaköy and nearby areas 👟 Bring: Comfortable shoes, water shoes, sunscreen and a hat 📸 Best photography: Babadağ, Ölüdeniz viewpoints and the Lycian rock tombs 💡 Best tip: Stay several nights rather than visiting Fethiye as a rushed day trip ⚠️ Important: Summer temperatures can be intense, so schedule archaeological sites and hiking for early morning or late afternoon. ✈️ Getting There from Dalaman Airport Dalaman Airport is the main airport for Fethiye and Ölüdeniz. Airport coaches and transfers connect Dalaman with Fethiye, while taxis and private transfers are convenient if you’re arriving late or carrying several bags. Once in Fethiye, you don’t necessarily need a rental car. Local dolmuş minibuses are inexpensive and useful for reaching many popular destinations. A car becomes more worthwhile if you want to explore remote beaches and archaeological sites independently. 🏖️ Ölüdeniz Is Famous for a Reason Ölüdeniz is around 15 km from Fethiye and is one of Türkiye’s most recognisable coastal destinations. The combination of mountains, intensely blue Mediterranean water and the famous lagoon creates an extraordinary landscape. However, don’t expect an undiscovered beach. Ölüdeniz becomes very busy during summer. Go early in the morning if you want a quieter experience and better photographs. The main beach and lagoon area offer different environments, so explore beyond the first stretch of sand you encounter. 🪂 Paragliding from Babadağ This is probably Fethiye’s most famous adventure experience. Paragliders launch from Babadağ, the enormous mountain rising behind Ölüdeniz, before descending towards the coastline. Even if you don’t want to paraglide, travelling up Babadağ is worthwhile for the views. For tandem paragliding, choose an established operator, check weather conditions and follow the instructor’s safety directions. Don’t select an operator based solely on the cheapest price. 🦋 Butterfly Valley Butterfly Valley is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and is best known for its spectacular coastal setting. Many visitors arrive by boat from Ölüdeniz. The beach can become busy when excursion boats arrive simultaneously, so expectations matter: this is no longer an isolated secret beach. Still, approaching the valley from the sea is beautiful. If hiking around the area, use proper footwear and don’t attempt dangerous cliffside shortcuts for photographs. ⛵ Take a Boat Trip A boat excursion is one of the best ways to spend a full day around Fethiye. Tours typically visit several islands and bays, allowing plenty of time for swimming. You may see excursions advertised as 12 Islands Tours, although itineraries vary between operators and according to weather conditions. Before booking, ask: · How many passengers will be onboard? · How many swimming stops? · Is lunch included? · Are drinks included? · Is there shade? · Will there be loud music? · What time does the boat return? A smaller, quieter boat can be worth paying more for. 👻 Explore Kayaköy Kayaköy offers something completely different from Fethiye’s beaches. The hillside is covered with abandoned stone houses, churches and streets associated with the former Greek settlement of Livissi. Following the population exchange between Greece and Türkiye in the 1920s, the settlement was largely abandoned. Walk slowly through the ruins and imagine the community that once existed here. Visit early or late in the day because there is limited shade. Kayaköy is also one of the region’s most atmospheric photography locations. 🏛️ Look Up at the Lycian Rock Tombs You don’t even need to leave Fethiye to encounter ancient history. Above the town are impressive Lycian rock-cut tombs, including the famous Tomb of Amyntas. The climb rewards you with excellent views across Fethiye. Go around late afternoon rather than during the hottest part of the day. Bring water and wear shoes with grip. 🏺 Visit Ancient Telmessos Modern Fethiye developed around ancient Telmessos, an important Lycian settlement. Remains are scattered around the modern city rather than concentrated in one enormous archaeological park. The ancient theatre near the harbour and Lycian tombs provide reminders that this seemingly modern resort town has a history stretching back thousands of years. This combination of ancient ruins and everyday urban life is part of Fethiye’s charm. 🌊 Don’t Ignore Çalış Beach Çalış Beach doesn’t have the dramatic lagoon scenery of Ölüdeniz, but it has another major advantage: sunsets. The long waterfront promenade is perfect for an evening walk followed by dinner. Come shortly before sunset, find somewhere beside the sea and stay as the sky changes colour behind the islands. It is also considerably easier to reach from central Fethiye than some more remote beaches. 🐟 Visit the Fish Market For a different dining experience, explore Fethiye Fish Market. The traditional concept is simple: choose seafood from one of the fishmongers and have a surrounding restaurant prepare it for you. Before buying, confirm both the seafood price and the restaurant’s cooking/service charge. This avoids confusion when the final bill arrives. Choose whatever looks freshest rather than automatically ordering the most expensive fish. 🍽️ What to Eat Don’t restrict yourself to international resort food. Try: · Fresh grilled fish · Calamari · Octopus · Pide · Lahmacun · Köfte · Gözleme · Mantı · Stuffed vine leaves · Haydari · Şakşuka · Turkish breakfast For dessert, look for baklava, künefe or sütlaç. Also try local markets for seasonal fruit, olives, cheeses and other regional products. 📸 Best Photography Spots For the classic turquoise-water photograph, head above Ölüdeniz rather than photographing only from beach level. Babadağ provides the ultimate panoramic perspective. The Lycian tombs offer excellent views over Fethiye. Kayaköy is best photographed early or late when shadows add texture to the abandoned stone buildings. On boat trips, have your camera ready before arriving at each bay. The clearest view of the water is often from the deck while approaching. And for sunset, head to Çalış Beach. 🥾 Walk Part of the Lycian Way Fethiye sits near the western end of the famous Lycian Way, one of Türkiye’s best-known long-distance hiking routes. You don’t need to walk the entire trail. Short sections around Fethiye, Kayaköy and Ölüdeniz can provide fantastic coastal scenery. Avoid serious hiking during the hottest summer afternoons. Carry plenty of water and use proper footwear rather than sandals. 🌅 Best Time to Visit May, June, September and October are excellent. The weather is warm enough for swimming while hiking and sightseeing are generally more comfortable than during peak summer. July and August bring intense heat, higher accommodation prices and crowded beaches. If visiting during peak season, start early. A 7:00 AM beach and a 1:00 PM beach can feel like two completely different places. 💡 Tips That Will Make Your Trip Better Use dolmuş minibuses instead of taxis for common routes. Book paragliding early in your stay in case weather causes delays. Take at least one boat excursion. Visit Ölüdeniz early. Carry water shoes because not every beach has soft sand. Spend an evening at Çalış Beach. Explore Kayaköy outside the hottest hours. And leave some free time instead of booking an excursion every day. Fethiye is also a place to slow down. ⚠️ Things to Avoid Don’t spend your entire trip at Ölüdeniz. Don’t attempt exposed hiking trails in midday summer heat. Don’t choose paragliding or boat operators based only on price. Don’t assume every boat trip is peaceful — ask about music and passenger capacity. Don’t climb dangerous cliffs around Butterfly Valley for photographs. Don’t forget sunscreen on boat excursions. Don’t leave valuables unattended while swimming. And don’t underestimate distances between Fethiye, Ölüdeniz and the surrounding attractions. ❤️ Final Thoughts Fethiye offers one of the best combinations of nature, history and adventure on Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast. Ölüdeniz may provide the famous photograph, but the region becomes much more interesting once you explore beyond it. Take a boat through the bays, walk among the abandoned houses of Kayaköy, see the Lycian tombs above Fethiye, eat fresh fish near the market and watch the sunset from Çalış. And if you’re brave enough, see the entire coastline from a paraglider above Babadağ. Come to Fethiye for the turquoise water, but stay long enough to discover everything surrounding it. 🌊🇹🇷 #travel #couplestrip #travel2026

After arriving at Dalaman Airport, checking in, and dropping off my luggage, the most important thing was finding something to eat. Seeing that the airport food options were quite extensive, I ordered Sebzeli Noodles with Extra Chicken for 150TL (£7.50/HKD64.50). The wait was quite long, but I finally got my noodles. The noodles were incredibly crispy and chewy, and the chicken was fried to perfection and delicious. A pleasant and enjoyable setting for tennis in Dalaman. The court maintenance, club organization, and general atmosphere are quite good. It’s also nice that there’s a suitable practice environment for players of all levels. I recommend it to anyone passionate about tennis and looking to improve themselves.

The operation is now under new management, and it's fantastic in both quality and service aspects. We enjoyed an excellent lunch featuring freshly prepared dishes in a very comfortable setting. Be sure to book in advance because people will come to see that it offers much better value compared to the rest of the airport. Kudos to Alina and the team, who were delightful. It's just unfortunate that our flight departed on time!

#turkeytravel #patara #travel2026 #travel 🏛️The enthralling encounter with the ancient city of Patara was an incredible adventure I took during July 2026. The sun was hot, the Turkish landscape and anthroposphere was stunning and I stayed locally in a beautiful family run Hotel called The Apollon. 🚏I arrived in Gelemis early in the morning after an overnight flight from Manchester. ✈️ 🚍It was a pretty easy journey on public transport from the airport in Dalaman. I got a bus from the airport to Fethiye, then another local bus to Kas, changing at Gelemis interchange. You can actually walk to Gelemis but as I had a big bag decided to get a bus. It was all well within a tight budget! 💶 10 I got up early to begin the long walk down to Patara from the centre of the village. On the way I bought a ticket for the whole site and the beach. It was a fascinating walk, along the roadside was evidence of Lycian Rock cut tombs and Roman arches and houses. It was a very lush and green landscape with exotic palm trees and lush reeds intertwining with olive trees. 🏛️ The old city of Patara stretches almost 4000 years. According to Herodotus the style of worship conducted in the temples highly resembled the ancient ceremonies of the Egyptians and Sumerians. The ancient temples can still be visited and capture the mysteries of the place. There are Lycian tombs lining the main arch entrance to the city as you walk towards the Ancient Agora. Patara is a vast ancient city. Spread over a large area it’s a special and functional sphere that existed for thousands of years until the ancient harbour silted up. I could still trace the steps of the ancients on paths, roads and ancient engineering in standing structures and architecture. The ancient lighthouse was magnificent and it must have been an ancient wonder in history. 🪦When I visited there were few tourists on my walk, everyone takes a car or bus, missing the enchanted human footprints of the ancients. On foot you can wader, meander, touch the tombs and pillars for a more examined sensory experience. The wild flowers fill the air with a beautiful scent as you take a dreamy walk through the wondrous ancient city. 🐐Wild goats are very friendly! They took an interest in my backpack as I stopped to sketch and draw the landscape. What a lovely encounter! 🪦My quest for ancient antiquity was seriously satisfied on my mini day odyssey of ancient Patara. Be prepared to walk, wear comfortable walking sandals, a map, food and snacks and water bottles. A sun hat and sun cream is also quite important it gets very hot. 🏊The last part of my epic walk was to visit the beach. The longest beach in Türkiye 🇹🇷 and there were few tourists on it! I had it mostly to myself to swim and chill and reflect on my adventure before I began walking back to my hotel. 🎨As a solo female traveller I can honestly say this was a very safe walk and trip even though I was mostly on my own in a remote area. I stopped to sketch and paint during my walk with the wild goats being the only interactions I had. There is plenty of space to be on your own and imagine the ancient city. 🇹🇷The visit cost around 💶10 for a ticket for the ancient city and the beach. There is a cafe at the beach and you can buy drinks. 🪦I hope you enjoy my images and try out my epic walk. It is part of the Lycian way and I also visited Xanthos, Pinara and Kas as part of my trip in Gelemis. #lycian #lycianway #travel #ancientcity #naturalwonders #museums #thingstodo #solotravel #solofemaletravel #arts

If you’ve ever dreamed of Amalfi’s dramatic cliffside views or the white-and-blue charm of the Greek islands, but dreaded the outrageous price tags, packed cruise crowds, and commercialized vibe—Kaş is your answer. Perched along Turkey’s southwestern Turquoise Coast, Kaş feels like a classic European coastal village lost in time. Pink bougainvillea spills over historic stone balconies, ancient Lycian tombs sit casually on street corners, and the water in the harbor is as clear as a swimming pool. But unlike Positano or Santorini, Kaş maintains an authentically relaxed, slow-paced charm where local family-run spots still thrive and costs remain refreshingly reasonable. Here is your complete guide to making the most of Kaş: What to Do & See · Wander the Old Town Alleys: Explore the cobblestone pedestrian lanes lined with ottoman-era wooden houses, handmade ceramic shops, and carpet studios. Keep an eye out for the King’s Tomb (Lion’s Tomb)—a 2,400-year-old Lycian sarcophagus sitting right at the top of the main market street. · Catch Sunset at Antiphellos Theatre: Just a 5-minute walk from town center lies a remarkably preserved Hellenistic amphitheater facing directly out toward the open sea. Grab a cold fresh orange juice or Turkish tea, sit on the ancient stone steps, and watch the sun dip below the Mediterranean horizon. · Visit Kaputaş Beach & Kekova: Take a 20-minute dolmuş (local minibus) ride north to swim at Kaputaş Beach, famous for its dramatic staircase down a canyon wall to turquoise water. Alternatively, take a calm day boat trip out to the Sunken City of Kekova to drift over partially submerged ancient ruins. · Slow Breakfasts & Late Coffee: Start your morning with a massive cliffside serpme kahvaltı (spread breakfast) overlooking the coast at spots like Panorama Brunch Cafe. After sunset, skip the noisy crowds and head to cozy local spots like Doğa Cafe for traditional Turkish coffee brewed over sand and fresh San Sebastian cheesecake. Practical Travel Tips for Kaş · How to Get There: Fly into Dalaman Airport (DLM) or Antalya Airport (AYT). A rental car or local shuttle bus takes about 2.5 hours from Dalaman or 3.5 hours along the scenic coastal road from Antalya. · Footwear Notice: The streets in the Old Town are paved with smooth, steep cobblestones. Leave thin flip-flops in your room and stick to sturdy sandals or sneakers. · Best Season: Visit during shoulder months (May–June or September–October). The Mediterranean water is warm, daytime temperatures average a comfortable 26°C–28°C, and you completely avoid peak summer crowds. Have you ever explored the Turkish Riviera, or are you still sticking to traditional European hot spots like Amalfi and Santorini? What’s your absolute favorite coastal town in the Mediterranean? Our driver was extremely polite, respectful, and professional. The trip from Dalaman Airport to our hotel in Marmaris took about 1 hour and 40 minutes, but it didn’t feel tiring at all. The car was comfortable, spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly the entire time. He thoughtfully offered us water and tea, which we truly appreciated after the long journey. We felt relaxed and at ease throughout. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with outstanding service. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Ramada when my wife fell unwell towards the end of our holiday in Dalyan. As we needed to be near the airport for our onward journey, we chose the hotel primarily for its convenient location, not giving much thought to the other amenities. However, our stay turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The hotel generously upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost, which was a thoughtful gesture during a challenging time. The food and drinks were good quality and reasonably priced, and the location was ideal for easy access to the airport. The pool area was spotless, relaxing, and never overly crowded. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with free WiFi, air conditioning, and a safe. All in all, it provided everything we needed and made an unexpected stopover much more enjoyable than we had anticipated.

Imagine waking up to the sound of crashing waves, stepping out of a safari-style canvas lodge, and taking in the panoramic views of the turquoise Mediterranean. Perdue Hotel in Faralya isn't just a place to stay—it’s an off-the-grid escape where luxury meets raw nature. Perched dramatically on the rugged cliffs of the Lycian coast, this adults-only glamping hideaway is designed for slowing down. By day, lounge in hammocks suspended directly over the water or step down the rocky ladders straight into the crystal-clear sea. By night, stone pathways flicker under candlelight, setting the scene for seafood dinners paired with local Turkish wines under a canopy of stars. The Details You Need to Know 📍 How to Get There Fly In: Fly into Dalaman Airport (DLM), which sits roughly 70 km away from the property. By Car / Taxi (Recommended): Drive or take a private transfer through Fethiye and past the scenic curves of Ölüdeniz. The total journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Final Stretch: Because the property is tucked away down an unpaved forest road, the hotel typically arranges a 4WD transfer or private boat pickup for guests at the main road junction. 💳 What It Costs Nightly Rates: Expect rates starting from roughly $320 to $560+ USD per night, depending heavily on the season (shoulder seasons like May or October offer sweet deals). Inclusions: Your stay includes luxury safari tent accommodations—complete with air conditioning, private wooden decks, and often open-air hot tubs overlooking the sea—plus a daily Mediterranean breakfast. Insider Tips & Local Suggestions 1. Hike a Piece of the Lycian Way: The ancient Lycian Way trail cuts right near Faralya. Lace up your trail shoes for a morning hike along the cliffs before the heat sets in. 2. Boat Trip to Butterfly Valley: Ask the staff to organize a private wooden boat to take you into Butterfly Valley (Kelebekler Vadisi) early in the morning before the day-tour boats arrive. 3. Sunset at the Open-Air Bar: Claim your spot on the wooden deck at sunset. The view of the sun dipping into the horizon from this altitude is unbeatable. 4. Pack Light Footwear with Grip: Since the resort is built into natural sea cliffs with stone steps and rustic paths, leave the high heels behind and opt for stylish sandals or boat shoes instead. #TurkeyTravel #Faralya #PerdueHotel #GlampingLuxury #LycianCoast #VisitTurkey #HiddenGem #AdultsOnlyRetreat

Met at Dalaman airport by a delightful driver who promptly took us to our accommodation. For the return journey, we were picked up from the hotel and brought back to the airport in a pleasant, comfortable ride. The vehicle was clean and equipped with free WiFi, and we were even provided with refreshing cold water. All communication was quick and professional. Definitely planning to use this service again!

I would recommend this lounge and definitely use it again. It was calm, clean, and offered plenty of seating options. The layout was thoughtfully designed with cozy nooks that catered to families, both large and small, as well as solo travelers, featuring comfortable seating for all. Charging ports were available in every seating area free of charge, and WiFi codes were provided for use. The toilets were quiet and clean, a refreshing change from the crowded queues in the main departure area. Food options were impressive, with a hot section that included chili con carne, chicken kebab, bulgur wheat, and roasted vegetables. The cold section offered a range of salads, chicken nuggets, bread, nuts, and cakes. However, some food containers were occasionally found empty, likely due to some guests taking excessive amounts when cakes were restocked, making it hard for staff to keep up. The drink selection was excellent, with an array of hot and cold options. Refrigerated bottles of water were provided to take on the plane, along with alcoholic beverages available in unlimited quantities. This lounge offered a soothing end to our holiday, and we would happily return in the future.

Introduction Many of you have probably seen photos or videos of Kaş, and noticed how beautiful it is: the turquoise sea, the mountains, the cozy streets, and the beautiful hotels. And if you've already looked at prices, you might have noticed another pleasant thing: it's quite possible to find great hotels in Kaş at a fairly affordable price. Perhaps one of the reasons is that Kaş isn't easy to get to. The nearest airport is a two-hour drive away, so many people think the only option is to take an expensive taxi. But that's not necessary. I'll tell you how to get to Kaş for about 1,700–2,000 ₽ instead of 16,000 ₽ by taxi. ✈️ Fly to Dalaman Airport For a trip to Kaş, it's more convenient to choose Dalaman Airport rather than Antalya. Dalaman is closer to Kaş, although for some reason, many people consider Antalya first. 🚌 Dalaman → Kaş for 1000/1200 TL - 1740 - 2088 RUB How to find the shuttle 👇 Option 1 Message this number in advance WhatsApp and book the shuttle +90 541 242 12 42 This is an official shuttle company that runs several times a day to Kaş and Dalaman. The cost per person is 1000 TL = 1740 RUB. It is recommended to message a day or half a day before your intended trip. You will be asked to provide your first name, last name, date of birth, and passport number. Payment is made to the driver in person when you meet them before the trip. Option 2 After exiting Dalaman Airport, you need to go outside and walk straight. Cross the pedestrian crossing and continue straight until you see small stands for the various transport companies. Among them, you'll see a stand with the word "KAŞ" written on it. Go there and say you need to go to Kaş. At the time of my trip, the transfer cost 1,200 Turkish lira per person, or about 2,100 rubles. This isn't a private transfer, so you'll have to wait a bit for other passengers to gather. In my case, the wait was about 20 minutes. And then begins one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip. 🌊 Try to sit in the front I highly recommend politely asking the driver if you can sit in the front seat next to him. Here's why. Part of the road to Kaş runs along the sea, and the views are incredibly beautiful. If you sit in the front, you can look out the windshield and take beautiful videos on your phone. So, for me, the drive to Kaş already became part of the trip. If you can't get a seat by the front window, then sit in the right-hand side of the car 👉. The windows on the right will overlook the sea. This is the case if you're traveling from Dolomani to Kaş. If you're going the opposite direction, then on the left 👈 The driver also makes a stop at a gas station along the way. You can use the restroom, buy water, or grab a snack. And another nice thing: the restrooms at the gas stations where we stopped were very clean. In Kas, you'll get a ride to this point. https://maps.app.goo.gl/HLaf5xVGQEddm6ANA?g_st=ic ✈️ How to get from Kas back to the airport Be sure to book a return transfer in advance via WhatsApp. · 90 541 242 12 42 🚌 How to get around Kas You can get around Kas on small local buses. Just a warning: the comfort is rather limited. 😅 The buses are small, often packed, and the air conditioning may not work, so it can get very hot inside. 🥵 But it's truly budget-friendly transportation. The cost depends on the distance, but my ride was about 60 lira, or about 100 rubles. 🚕 Save the taxi just in case I'll also leave the contact information for a taxi driver I met in Kas. You can message him directly on WhatsApp. · 90 553 248 66 35 This is convenient in case there's no bus nearby or you need to get somewhere urgently. And since I'm sharing his personal contact information, please be polite to him ❤️ I'll also leave a few more numbers for local taxi services: ☎️ And here are some contacts for local taxi stands in Kas. But you'll have to call them, although they might also have a WhatsApp number you can message, I haven't checked. Kaş Taksi +90 242 836 19 33 Çakıl Taksi +90 242 836 24 48 Liman Taxi +90 242 836 14 89 Garaj Taksi Kaş +90 242 836 30 70 If your SIM card doesn't allow calls in Turkey, at least save the driver's WhatsApp number. 📱 What to download before your trip Before your trip, I recommend downloading a translator and pre-downloading the Turkish language for offline translation. Then the translator will work even if your internet connection suddenly goes out. And speaking of internet, I travel a lot and long ago found the most convenient option for myself. I no longer buy a physical SIM card in each new country. Instead, I use an eSIM through the Unisim app. 📱 Now about the internet. Why I switched to Unisim I travel a lot and have tried different eSIM options. And here's why Unisim was more convenient for me than other apps. You only need to buy an eSIM once, pay for it, install it according to the instructions, and never delete it from your phone again. Because this single eSIM works in multiple countries. You don't need to buy and install a new one before each new trip. After purchasing, you top up your balance, and then small amounts are gradually deducted from it for the data you actually use. So there's no typical scenario: "Should I buy internet for 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days?" And then your plans change, your package runs out, and you have to buy a new one. It's simpler here: one eSIM, one balance, and multiple countries. If you leave the country and have money left on your balance, it's not lost. On your next trip, you simply use the same eSIM again. And in my experience, a small balance lasts a long time. I watched YouTube, edited and sent videos, actively used social media, maps, and messengers—basically, I didn't limit myself at all. Another big plus: you can top up your balance in various currencies, including rubles from a Russian bank card. And no, this isn't an ad 😄 No one paid me for this. I discovered Unisim completely by chance when I was looking for convenient internet for traveling, tried it, and now I recommend it to my friends. I used to use Airalo, but after Unisim, I simply deleted it. For my type of travel, the difference was so great that I don't even want to go back. This is especially convenient for Turkey, because you'll need internet access on the road: for maps, translation, WhatsApp, and communication with the driver. By the way, I recommend buying and installing a SIM card before your trip. This way, you can use the internet immediately after landing and text your family that you had a safe flight. Installation is simple; just follow the on-screen instructions. By the way, customer support always responds promptly. A real person answers, not a bot. 🤖 Save this post before your trip to Kas – it contains practically all the transportation instructions you'll need after your arrival. 🇹🇷💙 #kas #kastransfer #kasshuttle

We used Marti’s transfers from Dalaman airport to Içmeler and back to the airport when we left. Both drivers were punctual and very friendly, and the taxis/vehicles were top-notch. I would definitely use them again.

I decided to try this lounge despite some negative reviews. Paid about £43 for two of us for a Wednesday lunchtime visit. The reception staff were warm, welcoming, and quickly checked us in while providing the Wi-Fi code. The lounge itself felt spacious and modern, with a nice bar area. We started with a beer each, and my husband later had vodka and lemonade. The hot food options included tomato soup, small meatballs, and a chicken dish. However, I was disappointed by the lack of sandwich ingredients—there were no meats, only various salad leaves, Turkish-style coleslaw, couscous, small brown rolls, milk pudding, and slices of cake. The beverage selection was fair: bottled water, Appletizer-like drinks, juice cartons, and a fizzy drinks machine. Though there was also a hot drink machine, we didn’t try it. I didn’t eat much due to the missing sandwiches, but my husband was satisfied with what he chose. Overall, not sure I’d book it again, but I appreciated the modern and spacious environment for relaxing before our flight. Definitely not as bad as some reviews suggest.
