#Britishballgame #EnglishLeague The first stop in the north, Derby (Derby) to visit a friend, happened to be found a ball game by the twins father. This was Derby County vs Milton Keynes Dons in the English League. The twin dad wanted the twin to feel the atmosphere of watching the game live, so he booked a front row seat and the price was not much more expensive, £25 for adults and £7 for children. However, parking requires a separate booking of £10 per car. I don't know if it's possible to sit in front, the staff took the initiative to ask me if I could enter the stadium to take pictures, and also helped my whole family take pictures, very happy ❤️, really a good experience to watch the game. ✿ To Industry, Nothing Is Impossible. ✿ The Museum of Making is located on the site of the world's first modern factory and is part of the 18th-century Derwent Valley Mills, a World Heritage Site. The mill was bought by Derby City Council in 1974 and opened to the public as the Industrial Museum. It was renovated from 2013 to May 2021 and renamed The Museum of Making. The new museum combines concepts such as science, technology, and engineering. It has more than 30,000 exhibits, which are arranged according to material classification - stone, porcelain, glass, metal, textile, organic, synthetic, etc., showing the local 300-year manufacturing history - from railways, steel mills, mining to aviation, engineering, and video games, the changes of the times are clearly visible. Therefore, The Museum of Making is also a sustainable project. In just one year of opening, it has won multiple annual awards and this year was shortlisted for the 2022 Art Fund Museum of the Year award. The Museum of Making is free and has a clear theme. It is educational, thought-provoking and inspiring, and is full of historical value. The Museum of Making documents the process of bringing ideas to life, with each object linked to the next – improved, made and improved again. A 7-ton Rolls-Royce engine hangs from the museum's ceiling. It is the smallest engine in the world and can be powered by just a strand of hair. It's a must-see! ✿ Taste In Variety, Variety In Taste。 ✿ The European Restaurant is one of the longest-running restaurants in Derby, an Italian restaurant, owned and operated by an Italian for over 30 years, located in an ancient century building opposite the Derby Cathedral (Derby Cathedral) in downtown Derby. The restaurant is simple and feels unified with the dining room outside the window, making people calm and comfortable. The staff is kind and carefully explains the dishes. The passion and pursuit of the food can be seen in the conversation style appetizer platter), Tartlet to main courses Risotto, Scaloppine and others, about £30 per person The dishes are simple and exquisite, its cooking techniques to taste are not picky, great value for money. It should be noted that The European Restaurant is not a ground floor shop and requires walking through the passage and stairs in the building to enter, slightly gloomy along the way Furthermore, the restaurant is located in one of the oldest buildings in Derby, with narrow doorways and crooked floor to ceiling , characteristic but small surprise. ✿ Myths Which Are Believed In Tend To Become True. ✿ Since an 18th century British folk song "The Derby Ram", the Ram has become the traditional symbol of Derby and the modern mascot. According to legend, the Derby Ram was 10 yards tall - about 9 meters tall, with giant horns and loose wool, and was a mythical figure. Local sculptor Michael Pegler created the famous Derby Ram Statue in 1995, and the ram sculpture in this event also uses his design. The Derby Ram Trail is a collaboration between Derby Museums and Wild in Art, transforming Derby's streets and trails into an outdoor art gallery. There are 30 ram sculptures in total, designed and hand-painted by artists, with designs based on Derby, Derbyshire and the world, and each one is colorful and unique. In addition, 30 mini rams were designed and decorated by local schoolchildren. They were simple and cute, adding educational significance and interactive elements to the event. The ram sculpture was later auctioned and the proceeds were donated to a local museum fund for conservation efforts. However, 15 of the sculptures remain on the street for passers-by to admire. The Derby Ram Trail not only adds flavor to the streets of Derby, but also makes the rams within reach, making them more approachable and bringing the community closer together. The sculptures blend into the landscape, further highlighting the local culture, and the presence of mythical beasts caring for the visitors along the way gives people peace of mind. #uktravel #derby #derbyramtrail #British Attractions

✿ The English Pub Has Always Been Much More Than Just A Tavern - It Is A Clubhouse, A Meeting Place, A Community Center. ✿ Founded in 2002, Loungers is a British local brand specializing in coffee shops, bars and restaurants, with more than 200 locations across England and Wales. Cozy Club is a sub-brand of Cozy Club. It was founded in September 2010 and currently has 22 chain stores. Cozy Club Derby is located in a prime location in the city center, in a classical building built in 1837. The restaurant is decorated in the British style, with bold colors, gorgeous and elegant details. The floor is high and a giant chandelier hangs. The environment is as spacious and charming as a medieval ballroom. The Cozy Club offers modern British cuisine with a wide choice and costs £25 per head. There is a wide variety of menus and dish combinations, but the quality of the food is disappointingly variable. In addition, the restaurant was understaffed, and there was still no employee clearing the tables after the customers next to them left. I hope that if I visit another Cozy Club in the future, I will have a different experience. ✿ If We Don't End War, War Will End Us. ✿ The Derby War Memorial was built in 1924 and is located in downtown Derby - in front of Derby Guildhall (City Hall). The Derby War Memorial bronze statue of the Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus in her hands is believed to soothe the public and bring peace to the area. Behind the bronze figure is a giant cross and the pedestal is engraved with the inscription The Great War/1914-1918, a monument to the First World War. The inscription For Faith/And Home/And Righteousness/World War 1939–1945 was later added to honor those who died in World War II. The bronze statue stands in the city center where people come and go, as if with everyone and symbolizing that it will not be forgotten by the world. During the tour and passing by, I saw many people offering fresh flowers in mourning. The scene was touching, commemorating the deceased people while also making people reflect on the impact of the world war on future generations. ✿ Free Speech Carries With It Some Freedom To Listen. ✿ Derby's Market Place has been around since the 12th century and is mainly a venue for markets, stalls and other buying and selling activities. By 1995, a fountain was added to the Market Place, designed by William Pye, unique and original, with the concept of exchange and interaction. Featuring an observation deck and waterfall, it is very clever and therefore especially popular with children. Derby Speakers Corner was established in October 2012 and is located on Market Place to encourage free speech. Soon, in September 2013, new artwork was added to the rear of the waterfall, a series of facial comics of real people with QR Codes, mainly local citizens. The peculiar fountain actually goes against the expectations of the citizens of the era - traditional and elegant fountains, like freedom of speech, take courage and time to go from being different to being accepted. If you go through Derby Speakers Corner, it is recommended to use your mobile phone to scan the QR Code under each facial comic, which will be connected to a short video - the person's self-report, even talk about his interests. It seems boring but the meaning is far-reaching - speech, freedom, civilianization, popularization and so on. great time spent with family ❤️

During the school holidays, I travel to various hotels with my Goddaughter, and she always looks forward to the trips. This was her first visit to The Derby. Upon arrival, we were both warmly welcomed, which I thought was wonderful. She even got a small welcome gift that she absolutely loved. However, as a child with a dairy allergy, the food options were quite limited for her, which unfortunately led to us leaving the hotel prematurely. Overall, we had a great stay. I was amazed—it's the longest I've ever seen her sleep, and I even had to wake her for breakfast. I'm sure she'll want to return 😊

Nice place

good experience

Fantastic location within an easy walk to the Pier, bus trips, ferry rides, and museums. The room was spacious, featuring a large bed and a sofa bed, with a nice view of Derby Square. The bed felt a bit firm for me, but it was fine for my husband and daughter. Breakfast options were excellent, offering cooked dishes, cereals, toast, yogurt, and more. Plenty of great nearby restaurants, including The Ivy and Piccolino for Italian cuisine. Bacaro provided a delightful Italian lunch with small plates, similar to tapas. A great steak restaurant was just a 5-minute walk away.

Within minutes you can be walking through the stunning landscapes of the Peak District National Park.
