During the school holidays, I travel to various hotels with my Goddaughter, and she always looks forward to the trips. This was her first visit to The Derby. Upon arrival, we were both warmly welcomed, which I thought was wonderful. She even got a small welcome gift that she absolutely loved. However, as a child with a dairy allergy, the food options were quite limited for her, which unfortunately led to us leaving the hotel prematurely. Overall, we had a great stay. I was amazed—it's the longest I've ever seen her sleep, and I even had to wake her for breakfast. I'm sure she'll want to return 😊

Fantastic location within an easy walk to the Pier, bus trips, ferry rides, and museums. The room was spacious, featuring a large bed and a sofa bed, with a nice view of Derby Square. The bed felt a bit firm for me, but it was fine for my husband and daughter. Breakfast options were excellent, offering cooked dishes, cereals, toast, yogurt, and more. Plenty of great nearby restaurants, including The Ivy and Piccolino for Italian cuisine. Bacaro provided a delightful Italian lunch with small plates, similar to tapas. A great steak restaurant was just a 5-minute walk away.
