#tesaruonbudget Halfway to Desaru, I stumbled upon this Japanese restaurant that instantly caught my eye with its cozy interior. I thought, why not take a short break before continuing my journey? The place turned out to be such a pleasant surprise! Their sashimi platter was so fresh and thickly sliced, the karaage chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the prawn tempura was light yet flavorful. I paired it with a cold drink — simple bliss before heading back on the road. A reminder that even small stops can bring big joy on a trip.

Took a 3D2N staycation today to Westin Desaru Coast, and got ourselves a Seaview King Deluxe Room. Check in was fast, and got our room immediately at 330pm eventhough checking was said to be 4pm. Got a welcome drink and some popcorns. Wondered around the resort a bit today, and plan to do more tomorrow, including a visit to Desaru Fruit Farm.
