It’s suitable even for casual hikers or those new to hiking. The full hike to the top takes around 30–45 minutes, depending on your pace. #newyearadventure I stayed here over the weekend with my family. It was a great experience staying in a bamboo hut. Initially I was afraid if the resort is not in a good condition due to the flood situation that impacted them end of last year. But my worries are unfounded as the moment I reach the resort, I can see that the resort had done an excellent job in cleaning up and beautifying the place. The check in progress was okay as there weren’t many people. I guess it’s due to the increased recent Covid cases. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. However, the food can be improve further. The legendary Sidek Brothers were known for their famous Sidek Serve which was later banned from all badminton tournaments due to tricky method that caused difficulties to the opponents. For 90’s children who used to watch their animated series, you will be surprised to see the resemblance of the house in the animated series with the real life. Some boast stunning seaside views, some compete on price, and yes… some fall into the tourist trap category. But this spot? It came highly recommended by Nicole’s family—a place locals genuinely love. And that already tells you everything. The seafood here is as fresh as it gets. Many of the fish and shellfish are seasonal, caught either the same day or just the day before. You can taste that difference immediately. We chose to sit in their air-conditioned section, which was a lifesaver under the hot, sunny weather outside—comfortable, relaxed, and perfect for a long, indulgent meal. And what a feast it was. We ordered: · Kam Heong style meat crab · Teochew-style Golden Snapper · Wild stir-fried fern vegetables · Two massive plates of local white clams in white wine sauce Every single dish delivered. Flavourful, fresh, and cooked just right. We definitely over-ordered for three people… but somehow still managed to finish everything. No regrets there. After lunch, we took a slow walk along the jetty right next to the restaurant—soaking in the sea breeze, the local lifestyle, and the charm of this coastal town. Tried lunch at this restaurant for the first time. The staff is friendly and service is good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is interesting and comfortable with Middle Eastern music. We are very satisfied with the service from the staff and the food served. We ordered Lamb Haneeth, Shish Tawook, Hummus Shami, Fried Chicken Drummet and Adani Tea Milk was tempting and delicious.
