Hotel: Booked on Trip 🏘️ Holiday Inn Express Dongyang Hengdian by IHG (5-night stay for 5,477 THB). The hotel is located directly opposite Qin Palace. Hanfu: Outfit + hair & makeup + photographer for 2 days 💴 1,198 RMB (purchased a package on the Dianping App). 🇨🇳 This was my first time traveling to China alone, and I ended up exploring 4 cities. Traveling to Hengdian World Studios is very convenient. You can take a high-speed train to Yiwu Station and then continue by metro or taxi/Didi (though it’s a bit far). 👸🏻Hengdian World Studios is a 5A-rated tourist attraction and the filming location for many famous dramas. To explore all the palaces, you’ll need at least three days. However, since we only had one day, we chose to visit the Qin Palace. If you want to dress in period costumes, there are several shops at the entrance to choose from. Hair styling costs 188 yuan. If you didn’t plan to dress up but change your mind later, there are more shops near the ticket counter. The costumes that match the Qin Palace theme are styled like martial arts heroes and adventurers. 😁 Ticket booking: You can book through Trip and select which palace to visit or opt for a combo ticket for multiple palaces. It’s very convenient. Alternatively, you can buy tickets on-site as well.

You can take photos from every angle, and the surrounding mountains make your pictures look grand and beautiful without needing much editing 📸⛰️ Another thing I was impressed with is how few people there are compared to popular tourist destinations like Beijing. This makes it easy to stroll around without having to compete for photo spots, perfect for those who want beautiful photos without crowds or who just want to enjoy the atmosphere at a leisurely pace. The area is quite large, so I recommend allocating at least half a day. Wear comfortable walking shoes, and if you go in the morning or evening, the light is especially beautiful and the weather isn't too hot ☀️ Overall, Hengdian is a very worthwhile place to visit, whether you're a photography enthusiast, a history buff, or a fan of Chinese dramas. You're guaranteed to get beautiful photos, and the atmosphere is more peaceful than you might expect. If you're planning a trip to this area, I highly recommend adding this place to your list! 💯

Visiting the Qin Palace Studio at Hengdian World Studios felt just like walking into a real costume drama. The palace was huge, detailed, and incredibly well-designed. It truly felt like stepping into a drama scene. I had so much fun exploring the area and taking photos of the grand set. I even had the chance to watch a real drama being filmed right next door, which made the whole experience even more exciting and surreal. #Rainy season travel destinations If you like Chinese historical dramas or have ever dreamed of walking in a palace like the heroine in a series, Hengdian is the place to go! Even though we only have 1 day, we fully packed 3 main zones: · *1. Qin Palace** Start your trip with the grandeur of the Qin Dynasty. The magnificent scenes make you feel like you have really stepped into the era of Emperor Qin. The tall city walls and grand palace gates. Just walking around makes you feel like you are an actor in the series! · *2. Ming & Qing Dynasties Palace** This zone gives you a true atmosphere of the old capital, with streets, chambers of commerce, teahouses, red lanterns, and ancient costumes available for rent. Every angle you take pictures in is beautiful, like you have traveled back in time. · *3. Qing Ming Shang He Tu** This is a replication of a famous ancient painting that has come to life! It is a replica of the city from the painting "Qing Ming Shang He Tu", which tells the story of the way of life of people in ancient times. You can walk around the bridge, market, shops, and houses, with actors dressed in period costumes to add realism. · *Likes:** · Every scene is realistic, great for taking pictures · Some staffs are dressed in ancient costumes, creating a great atmosphere · Trams and maps are available · *Recommendations:** · The area is very large, you should choose the main points you want to go to first · It is recommended to wear comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking · If you have another day, you will be able to visit more · *Summary:** Hengdian does not disappoint at all. 📍 Hengdian, Dongyang ✨ This time we visited China, we had the opportunity to visit Hengdian World Studios, which is a Chinese drama studio. So, we took the opportunity to dress up in Hanfu to take pictures at the beautiful places like in the series. ✨ There are quite a few rental shops to choose from, both at the entrance of each location and near the hotel. We chose a shop that was not too far from the hotel so that we wouldn't waste too much time traveling. ✨ The staff at the shop were quite lovely, helpful and gave good advice. The only problem was that they couldn't communicate in English, so we used a language translation app. If you want it to be easy, I recommend that you bring a reference for the shop to help you see what kind of clothes you want, what kind of makeup and hair you want. The shop might not have the exact style you're looking for, but they'll help you find the style that's closest to what you want. ✨ It took us about 1 hour to get our makeup, hair, and clothes done. The shop was very professional and did our makeup and hair very quickly. They helped us choose hair accessories that match our outfits to make them look really cute. ✨ If it's cold, we can also borrow a blanket to keep us warm. The fabric is a bit heavy, but it's good for keeping us warm and windy. ✨The total cost for makeup, hair and dress rental is about 800 baht per person. The shop will ask for a deposit for the dress and will refund it when we change it back. #TravelChina

🌟Highlights: The Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden Film and Television Shooting Base is based on the famous Song Dynasty painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" by Zhang Zeduan. After thorough research on the city of Kaifeng, Song Dynasty architecture, and painting materials, combined with the needs of film and television shooting, the base was built in December 1998 after a year of construction and huge investment. ❤Recommended Reasons: Covering an area of 500 acres, the base is divided into nine scenic areas, each relatively independent yet interconnected, forming a magnificent and enchanting whole. The main attractions in each area have unique styles, offering endless fun and subtle charm. The painted boats are exquisite, the memorial archways stand tall, and the flowers are in full bloom. Ascend the towering Jingmen City Gate Tower to overlook the entire base and the distant Hengdian city. The Bian River meanders from east to west through the city, its clear water shimmering. The riverbanks are shaded by willow trees, swaying gracefully in the breeze. Schools of fish swim in the clear river, and the bridges are uniquely spectacular. Walking on the Rainbow Bridge, spanning 40 meters in length, 11.5 meters in width, and 5.8 meters in height, feels like walking on a rainbow to heaven, truly refreshing and breathtaking.
