Especially in April and May, when wildflowers bloom across the mountains, it's an ideal choice for a spring hike. It's also a photographer's paradise. Chongli's Aranya in winter is so incredibly chill! ❄️ It completely fulfilled all my winter fantasies about a snowy wonderland ✨ The Christmas decorations are still up, every step is a masterpiece 📸 You can experience the atmosphere of a Nordic snow-covered town without leaving the country! 🏠Accommodation & Hot Spring (pp. 8-11) I stayed at the super popular 🔥 Hidden Lodge Hotel 📍Address: Building 2, Aranya Town, Chongli District A spontaneous trip – I booked directly through Ctrip a day in advance! The one-bedroom room was super comfortable, and the butler service was incredibly attentive! They even gave us lots of snacks and fruits (a special shout-out to the brownie – absolutely gorgeous!) In the evening, I soaked in the hotel's complimentary mountain hot spring ♨️ ⚠️Tips: Nude bathing is only allowed here, and the pool is quite small, so remember to book in advance! After the hot spring, I had an aromatherapy spa treatment – ​​the massage from the northern lady was amazing! 🍚Food Reviews (pp. 12-14) ☑️ y North Spanish Restaurant Choose this restaurant for breakfast with an unbeatable window view! It's next to Ideal City, with an elevator that goes directly to the 5th floor. While the food was just okay, the view overlooking Shixuechuan Ski Resort was amazing! ☑️ Xiaomai Sui Steamed Dumplings If you're dining alone and don't want anything too fancy, this dumpling shop with freshly made dumplings is perfect! 🥟 I recommend the sea urchin filling! A box of 6 flavors is way too much to finish! ☕️ Ideal City Cafe (pp. 1-5) Absolutely a must-visit spot in Aranya! I snagged a stunning window seat with a breathtaking view on a weekday! 🪟 The grove of trees outside the window is also a perfect spot for photos. 📸 Reading a book and having coffee here on a winter afternoon is incredibly relaxing. 🎿Ski Resort Check-in (pp. 15-18) This time I mainly skied at other ski resorts. Shixuechuan Ski Resort is more suitable for beginners and families. 👨‍👩‍👧 Although it's a bit pricey, it's less crowded and the snow is excellent. I highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel lobby bar! The floor-to-ceiling windows face the ski slopes—perfect for taking photos!
