The Moxy Vienna Airport is a good 5 min walk from the terminal building. It's an easy, covered walkway walk, with only a few meters exposed. The lobby is a hip and lively area, centered around the bar. Staff are welcoming and friendly and eager to strike a conversation. The rooms are basic but adequate and it's nice that the windows open. The rooms at the back are quiet but you don't get any views. The rooms are also clean, but amenities are basic. 📅 Itinerary Day1:arrived at the hotel (I tagged it) , isn’t a fancy hotel but is a very central affordable hotel, very easy to get to it or leave at any time , randomly while I was walking in front of Stephansplatz, they were getting ready for a symphony concert, which I was lucky to get a ticket just before the start, it was beautiful activity before bedtime. Day2: walking through the city, finding cute places to see and stay, the alley picture,the park #pratervienna , searching for food (mostly asian food I had) soups and poke bowls, #Apapikabowls Day3: last day I walked through the center, went for a coffee and cake afternoon were I found the Truth cafe, after I did a little shopping around, went for Albertina and at the store I ve seen a card with a restaurant, I ve searched if was still existent , and went for a dinner there as it was my last day , #CafeLeopold was the restaurant and I had great bao there! I don’t really recommend going as a single girl to such restaurants especially at dinner time , that’s why the Asian restaurants are a bit better for solo travelers, a bit more intimacy and less stare. It would be very troublesome if there was no shuttle bus, and it would be very expensive to call a taxi. We chose this hotel because we could reach the hotel through the connecting passage. Also, because we arrived in Vienna at around 8 o'clock in the morning, we were able to store our luggage at the hotel (for free!) and then take the subway to the city to play. This not only solved the problem of storing luggage, but also solved the transportation problem of catching a flight early in the morning. When I was looking for a place to stay, this hotel was really not cheap, but after weighing and evaluating it, it is really the best choice! But this is really the most expensive night of this stay! But if you choose to stay cheaper, you still have to find a way to store your luggage, and it is very expensive to take a taxi to the airport in the early morning. Later I found that the underground tunnel directly from the airport to the hotel was much simpler, very convenient and fast. #August2024 I was transiting in Vienna Airport when traveling to Europe. I saw this cafe passing by and it was not long before I boarded the plane, so I went in to try the famous Austrian sacher cake. The design of the interior of the shop was ordinary and the seats were ordinary. The price was normal airport price, the Austrian sacher cake tasted normal, and the service was normal. #vienna #cake

We had a ten hour layover at Vienna Airport. There are luggage storage services available, but they tend to be expensive, so we decided to stay inside the airport with our luggage. Thankfully, we found enough stuff to do to keep us pre-occupied until our next flight. There are several restaurants, cafes, and a grocery store inside the airport, so we tried Viennese coffee and sausages. There is also an observation deck at the top, but there is a fee.
