Stunning Riverside Restaurant

Former pop-up restaurant BAK now has its own permanent location on the Van Diemenstraat in Amsterdam. Located on the water in Amsterdamse Houthavens, BAK sets daily menus with ingredients that are the best at that moment. In the restaurant they only work with local products and the menu is always seasonal, gastronomic and a la carte. This is a rather rugged yet inviting restaurant with its splendid view over the IJ River. Benny Blisto sets great store by the origin of his ingredients, be it a carrot or ray wing. Locally sourced, seasonal produce is the inspiration behind his creativity. For instance, with slightly tart rhubarb and an exquisite beetroot sauce, he elevates a venison fillet to new heights.
