1. Address - Capri Highlights - Faraglioni rocks are the well known symbol of Capri along with the Blue Grotto. By taking a boat tour around the island's, you will see the island’s highlights, by taking stops for sightseeing every single beautiful view this island has to offer. Rating - overall, one of the best experience:) 2. Address - Amalfi Highlights - Grotta dello Smeraldo & Villa Cimbrone are definitely with seeing. Amalfi is also recommended for swimming Rating - Overall, beautiful place to shop and relax deserves 5 stars for the views. 3. Address - Sorrento Highlights - Sorrento is one of my favorite places as well. It has to much to offer and very clean City compared to the near cities. we missed a citrus tour, but I’d like to visit Sorrento, I think you should definitely try to do one as you can learn about the history and try their products. We bought a boat tour around the island in the morning. From the Capri's port we went directly to the blue grotto - we were there around 10.15 a.m. and there was already lots of people waiting on the stairs and also on the boats. We got inside quite quick. The entrance was 14 Euro - quite a lot for a 5 minute ride... We changed the boat for small boats and got inside. The man who was in the small boat was very funny and nice. Sorrento/Almafi Coast/Positano/ Capri- recommend you visit all if you want a truly amazing Summer!!!

I did a ton of research when I was visiting Italy. I started in Rome for a few days before venturing to the South for 5 days (we can talk about Rome separately). Being a bit of a history buff, I wanted to venture to Pompeii and Naples, unfortunately the chilled, relaxing and coastal scenery beckoned me to visit Almafi Coast, Positano, Sorrento and Capri instead. Though, given I visited in August … I don’t think it was relaxing at all as tourists from all 4 corners of the 🌎 descended to the beautiful coastal area. The research I did was surrounding where to stay - each location had its pros and cons whilst I was doing research but eventually, in my opinion, the best decision I made was choose Sorrento as my base- it was by far the most convenient in terms of travelling to different areas and a good connection point back to the main cities (Rome/Milan etc.) however, if you stay at Almafi/Positano you’ll still need to through Sorrento regardless. Plus, in comparison, Sorrento is relatively flat meaning if you have luggages or prefer not to “hike” everywhere you go, if you were staying in Almafi/Positano, then Sorrento is your pick. Also, I found Sorrento way more affordable with better food choices- maybe because Almafi/Capri/Positano are more well known hence the the higher price tag -but I don’t think there was many good choices and also souvenirs are more expensive comparing the different locations. Although, I would say Sorrento’s scenery isn’t as stunning if I had to choose. Though I think value for money and selection, Sorrento gets my vote. This place became famous as the personal villa of the first Roman Emperor Augustus and Emperor Tiberius! Later, it also became a favorite vacation spot for Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Even though I visited Capri in winter, it still had that resort vibe!! No wonder everyone says southern Italy is the best…🥹

Sorrento was majestic 🇮🇹

#italytrip Sorrento, Italy, is like stepping into a sun-soaked postcard! 🌞 This charming town on the Amalfi Coast captured my heart from the moment I arrived. The views over the Bay of Naples, with Mount Vesuvius in the background, are absolutely stunning. I spent my first day just wandering the narrow, cobbled streets lined with lemon trees, which fill the air with a sweet, zesty fragrance. 🍋 The Piazza Tasso, Sorrento’s main square, was lively and full of energy, with plenty of cafes where I enjoyed a perfect espresso while people-watching. ☕ One of my favorite experiences was visiting the Cloister of San Francesco. Entry is free, and the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful architecture, with its ivy-covered arches, made it the perfect place to take a break from the sun. 🌿 The nearby Villa Comunale offers panoramic views that are perfect for snapping photos or just taking in the sunset. 🌅 I also took a boat trip to Capri from the Marina Piccola; it's only a short ride away and a must-do for anyone visiting Sorrento. The food was another highlight! I couldn't get enough of the fresh seafood and homemade gnocchi alla Sorrentina. 🍝 Of course, no visit to Sorrento is complete without trying Limoncello, made from locally grown lemons. Capri Island is located in the Bay of Naples, Italy. The island attracts many tourists every year with its famous blue waters, beautiful houses, and mountain scenery. Additionally, visitors can take a boat trip to the island's famous Blue Grotto, where the mysterious interior and the glowing blue water create a unique experience that cannot be found in ordinary seas. A visit to this place is definitely worth it.

A mediterranean Paradise

#islandtours If your travel plans include exploring the amalfi coast, then the island of Capri should definitely be a part of it. I have done it on a day trip as well as stay. Basically, depending on where you are put up on the amalfi coast, you'll have boat or ferry options to Capri. Although, I must point out that not all places have services to Capri all year round. I recommend researching depending on when you plan on arriving. However, it is Naples where you'd be based that you'll have access to ferries headed to Capri through out the year. The day tour to marina was especially comfortable and fun for me as someone I met a week before invited me on a private boat tour. I think there are plenty of private boat operators, especially during season that offer it. The ferry boats were huge and that meant a lot of people. So I was sure glad to have had a chance on the private boat tour. There were drinks and snacks on the boat. I was even provided with a towel. Make sure you carry your swimsuit though. You'll catch some stunning views. Those giant volcanic stones are half submerged in water and out side too. Speaking of sights on Capri. There is surprisingly a lot to do. We were put up in marina grande and it was a nice walk to local beaches, restaurants etc. It's got historic sites, the botanical garden, villa lysis etc. But you might have to take the local buses or rent a two wheeler. The food was absolutely wonderful and we managed to eat and hit some great spots on the island. #islandtours #beachlife

You won't regret coming to Capri

The Blue Grotto is truly blue, the water is crystal clear, the island is wonderful, and yes, it's genuinely expensive. Even the gardens on the island have an entrance fee, but the scenery is indeed beautiful. On the yacht ride back, we even saw renovations on the island, with a helicopter transporting building materials and furniture. According to the guide, the cliffside mansions are inhabited by world-famous personalities, but exactly who remains a mystery.

Capri Island, a Vacation Paradise in Italy.

As the weather warms up, it's possible to go out to sea and take a boat trip. Capri Island in Italy is truly beautiful. A boat tour around the island costs 23 euros, and the scenery along the way is stunning, with many cliffs and unusual rocks. You can also see that the sea has different colors in different areas, which is genuinely beautiful and highly recommended. However, because I went to the Blue Grotto and only stayed on Capri Island for one day, I didn't go up the mountain. I sincerely recommend that visitors stay for at least two days.

Getting to know Naples, it was when I was a student secretly reading 'The Fireflies of Naples', which depicts the story of two little boys each experiencing hardships and growing up under the shadow of the underworld. Naples is the largest city in southern Italy, hailed as the city of sunshine and happiness. The city's coastal promenade is beautiful, making it one of the most famous scenic spots in the Mediterranean. 🌟Highlights: The Egg Castle (Figure 7), a castle built more than 2000 years ago, is the place where the Western Roman Emperor was exiled. Near the dock, you can enjoy the sunrise over the Bay of Naples from the castle. The Blue Grotto of Capri (Figure 8), one of the seven wonders of the world. The entrance to the cave is small, you need to take a small boat to enter, it is said that the statue of Poseidon was also found here. 📝Note tips: The tour guide said that the security in this area is not very good, do not wander around at night.
